What female athlete played basketball and golf and ran track? When she began to golf, she practiced over eight hours a day and hit over a thousand balls each day. There was no ladies pro golf at the time, but she was instrumental in creating a professional golf association for women. Although she went on to play pro golf, she is best known for her Olympic success. Who is she? Her husband was a wrestler who ate sticks of butter

Why do we always give up "big names"yet never acquire one?

If I had to choose, the best is clearly Mario Lemieux. The numbers don't lie, of course, and the impact is just as, if not, more significant. The worst is more fun: if someone wanted to, they could pick the infamous Alexandre Daigle (Ottawa 1993), the oft-injured Eric Lindros (Quebec 1991), or Greg Joly (Washington 1974). Have fun with this one!

There are players today who are labelled "heroes", despite not doing anything truly heroic in the modern world. The question I pose is this: 60 years after Jackie Robinson carried the weight of an ethnic race upon his shoulders and broke the color barrier, what current player carries on that spirit today? What I mean is this: leadership on and off the field, community service, outstanding play, and most importantly, is considered a torch bearer.

College Basketball has been a passion of mine since I was little. ACC basketball is the best tourney to watch, it pumps you up for the NCAA. I have been a tarheels fan since I was little. It's fun to watch with friends and defend your team and dog the opponent.

CLICK BELOW AFTER YOU READ!
It's okay to be called the next someone, but when you copy their every move, that is when you become a WEIRDO. MJ was called the next Dr. J but you didn't see MJ copying everything the Doc did. MJ was his OWN person. But when you click on and watch this video, you'll see Kobe doing everything that he copied from MJ. He's blowing on his fingers like MJ, he's nodding his fingers like MJ, he's jumping on tables like he's MJ, & he's just copying MJ's every move. Just click below, Kobe is becoming a weirdo. He can't be his own person.

I don't have anything against Spears nor Owens but imagine them getting married...I would not like to imagine what kind of children they would have...I mean, Owens is a complete immature NFL football player, Spears at least is a woman and women could be forgiven for their attitude...who do u think would get tired from one another sooner, Spears or Owens??? Or do u actually think they could get along quite well, I think this would be better so they can help each other solve their issues. I think that is what most of us would wish specially for Brittney, she has suffered alot. But would Terrell Owens be her perfect mate??? Note that I aint offending Spears alright??? also note that I am neither being racist for critizing Terrell, i would say the same for any person whatever race...so if u got any interesting answers to my question feel free!!! otherwise dont bother to sign.

I am 15 and want to know if it is alright for me to throw curves and sliders.

Also, as a follow up, is a knuckle curve safe to throw since you don't twist your arm or wrist?

I have made the Soccer Team here at school. Well... the soccer Coaches told me I was no good. They said they should of never chose me. They even threatend me once. They now don't let me play at any of the soccer games. I sit on the bench the whole time now. I think I should quit, but all my friends are on the soccer team. With my friends on the Team, I get to see and talk to them more. What do you think I should do??

They're a big offensive team, and they're the only team stopping us from going to state every year. We haven't beat them since 1994, anfd they won state in 2004. We have a pretty good defense, but not great. We do have one great pitcher, though.
