Not at this point in the season. The Flames are in 7th in the West at 36-22-9. They're in the playoffs....if they don't make it past the 1st round, then they may have to make a change...you don't change coaches just as you're about to go into the post season. Really, Playfair hasn't done that badly...

No reason to fire Playfair. Team is 14 games above 500 and are playing decent hockey. The fact that the west is loaded with talented teams this year doesn't help. Seems like the team had some chemistry problems and additions like Conroy and Primeau helped. The biggest problem the Flames have right now is the road woes, just about unbeatable at home. They've one 2 of 3 recently on the road and looks like they turned a corner a week back with a shootout win over the Wild. Overall I think Playfair has done a good job and the Flames are gonna start playing their best hockey right now.

Ah...fickle Calgary Flames fans! Give the man a chance to finish the season. Keep this in mind: you have a rookie head coach who is competing against the likes of San Jose, Anaheim, Nashville, Detroit, Vancouver, Dallas, etc. in a stacked Western Conference. If Playfair doesn't get the job done next season, then can him. Don't make him out to be another Bryan Trottier or Robbie Ftorek.

they only pick to whine because of the fact they lost their composer and no remember how complicated they tried to get Detroit to combat on the top Detroit replaced into to sensible do any of the dumb stuff exceedingly interior the playoffs. they do exactly no longer in basic terms like the fines and that i'm no longer able to have self belief they could pick to question it whilst it particularly is all on tape. and that they are fortunate that it wasn't worse. Lankow and and Ignila could have been sitting to boot as Mclellan. Ignila for the butt end hit then the pass examine and Lankow for the unpredicted sucker punch. i'm happy Detroit gained final night and it replaced right into a honest interest with effects on the two aspects and their goalie had yet another super overall performance final night. Calgary extra perfect thank him because of the fact he's the only reason they have been given previous interest (4). it is for Sandra ok's reaction. they could play golf like they do hockey so the golf classes could no longer enable them to even play there the two.
