It sucks, but Kentucky had only beaten MSU by 4 points earlier this season so I knew it'd be close. It was an incredibly good game to watch, even though my team was on the losing end.
And as far as the Tubby must go comment, are you serious? So I guess Tubby is suppose to go out and shoot for his team too right? It's ignorant UK fans that call for the resignation/firing of great coaches that disgust me. Until Pat Riley decides to ascend from the NBA echelon or Billy Donovan decides he's had a little too much swamp, fans should be content with one of the best coaches in the country. UK fans need to get over themselves. We're never going to have a team like the 1996 team and there's a fairly good chance NO ONE in college basketball will either. The parody of college basketball has caught up to Kentucky and we can't expect to have it all every year. It doesn't matter who you bring in, that's not going to happen. We consistently make the tournament and have 20 win seasons. Not many programs can even say that. Mitch Barnhart is seriously on the verge of making this just like the Alabama Football job.....the best and worst job in the sport, with the most unreal expectations imaginable.
