I think he is, and the story goes beyond the numbers.

Fryar entered the league out of Nebraska as the #1 pick of the draft, and he was super-gifted: 6 foot 200 pounds, freakish strength, cartoon-size hands and legitimate 4.3 speed.
Unfortunately, he was also a thug who took drugs and beat women, and he was stuck on a terrible New England team for 9 years, or his entire physical prime, and put up weak numbers.
Then he found God and got traded, resurrecting his career in his 30s with the Dolphins and the Eagles, notching 5 1,000 yard seasons with both teams all after age 30 and ending his career in the top 10 in most categories. 5-time pro-bowler.
He was always durable and tough (n When his physical powers were at there zenith, he was an idiot on a bad team a and had no numbers.
When he was an elder-statesman (though he was still very fast and strong), he came into his own.
Fryar should be a Hall of Famer.
Final Numbers: 851 catches (10th alltime) 12,785 (10th alltime)

Now that Al Davis has fired Art Shell, who should be the Raiders' new head coach? I've heard Rob Ryan, Rick Neuhiesel even Bill Parcells.

Everyone knows Yzerman's jersey was supposed to be retired but do you think that Lidstrom (probably one of the best defensemen of all time) should have his jersey retired when he's done? Can his name be hung among Howe, Abel, Lindsay, Sawchuck, etc.? Lemme know I'm really interested to know what you all think...

15-35 148yds with 2 picks looks doesn't look to good on national television. But then again, don't you still think he will make the best NFL QB out of all the QBs that are entering the draft given that this is a watered down year for QB talent?

on Michael Jordan, instead of Craig "White Guy" Ehlo; that the Cavs would have prevailed in Game 5 of the 1st Round Eastern Conference Playoffs, that that Cav Core of Price-Harper-Larry Nance-John Williams-Brad Daugherty, would have gone on to better things and challenged the Pistons for supremacy of the Eastern Conference in the late 80s, early 90s. They shouldn't have dismantled the Flight Brothers (Harper-Nance); and just used Ehlo as a 6th man and NOT in crunch time; look at Harper vs. Ehlo's steal differential in 88-89. Magic Johnson had also dubbed this Cleveland group as the "team of the 90s". Bad decision to have kept Ehlo, Harper could've made defensive stops on Jordan.

And when thens get tough, he wusses out. I also believe he is using Ron Rothstein as a patsy, as the long-time Miami (I'm in Portland, and are a Blazers fan; but an NBA aficioando); faithful will remember Rothstein leading them in losing seasons when they had Glen Rice and Rony Seikaly. Pat Riley has no true hard-character, just glitz.

Who thinks that the Detroit Lions should get rid of Millen? Why are the Lions working backwards?? They need to take a step just like how the Tigers did......take actions from the top of the totem pole, rather than starting from the bottom.

Ha ha ha.....also just a fast fact about Millen. I'm sure you probably know that he has the worst record as a GM in NFL history. You know why though? There has NEVER been a team in history that kept a GM so long to create such a terrible record! It's true too.....long at other GM's in the past of the NFL.....they were fired within a few years.

I just think that being that Terkay is a real MMA fighter with a few years of pro-wretling experience under his belt that he'd be a better match for Lashley then Khali at Wrestlemania. Terkay is 37 years old, so they should give him a big push now because obviously he isn't getting any younger. He's a big strong technical bruising and grappling wrestler and I think if you match him up against guys like Lashley, Batista, Benoit, Undertaker and Kane it would make for some great programs and action. I'm tired of seeing Kennedy, Edge, Orton, Umaga and Khali getting all the big pushes when theirs better talent in the WWE.

Troy Smith is all around a better quarterback than Brady Quinn to me, and should be like that to everyone who watches college football because of the plain fact that he is better! Troy Smith is a heisman trophy winner, not because he's on Ohio State, not because he's black, but because he has better stats and has played better than anyone else in the NCAA. So I am confused as to why everyone thinks that Brady Quinn should be a 1st Round Draft Pick, and Troy Smith should be a late 1st Round Pick. Brady Quinn isn't a better passer, because he's 15th in the Nation for Passing Efficiency while Troy is 4th. Brady hasn't done more than he has, because he lost his puny bowl game while Troy is taking his team to the National Championship. So why the hell is Brady getting more cred from EVERYBODY than Troy Smith, when Troy is obviously way better than him?
