He was a inspiration and motivational captain for 3 years. We beat everyone and even got the ashes back. Then he gets injured and England's form has plumented for 18 months, culminating in this appalling display in Oz.
Most of the the players are not bad but they are completely pampered, unmotivated and ill prepared

Most if not all contact sports have equipment that protects the athlete (or at least limit the risk) of long term or serious injury. Why not boxing.
