Give me three reasons why UCS will be the champ next year.?

1) Only two players on the defense are leaving. Sartz and Lua both good players but not the stars. Maluga, Rivers and Cushing will come back as the best line backing corps in America. The dline is back. The secondary was really young and inexpericed this year, they are all back but more experienced. The defense will be a monster.

2) Booty and his RB's corps will have more maturity and experience. Gable and Moody were true freshmen RB's. Washington had his first year of real experience. Plus add in some hotshot recruits Green and Tyler. Booty has now proven he can win it with his arm. Although Jarrett and Smith will be gone they still have Davis and Turner both ready to make a name for themselves. The one game when Jarret and Smith were both hurt this season Turner had somoething like 12 catches for 100+ yards.

3) The system Carroll has in place.

ucla win was a fluke and they will pay for it this coming year.

I'll give you three reasons why they won't

1. They play in the PAC-10(strength of schedule won't help)
2. UCLA will shut them down again
3. Notre Dame beats them in South Bend

If we are talking about USC, I can only give you one way they get there, and that's if they run the table. Another late season loss to a big underdog and they can forget it. I would love to see them there though, against LSU so we can have the matchup we should have had in 2004.
