I have just left a mcdojo after 2 years and am now training at a real school, My instructor is fantastic and has helped me build my fitness even though I felt like I was attending bootcamp somedays,(at the mcdojo I don't think I even broke into a sweat).. She has adjusted and greatly improved my technique.. (You pick up alot of bad habits when a place such as a mcdojo has a high instructor turnover rate and you learn style's from 9 different people).. Now I'm according to my Instructor I'm going through the Body conditioning stage, I am now kicking without shin pads (Lightly) and punching sawdust bags lighlty without gloves.. this combined with the rigourous workouts, I am going through the stage where I am feeling exhusted and all my joints are a bit achey, and some muscles that I didn't know I had feel tight.. I Love the sport and want to do my best, but really how long does this conditiong take while your body adjust's.. I never experienced this at the mcdojo??
