No, unfortunatley before the two leagues merged there was a clause in the contract stating that anyone named Rex Grossman cannot win the MVP. Hehe, well, my real answer is no anyways. Even if the Bears keep winning and stay in position, you would probably make a better case for another Bear for MVP, Brian Urlacher. Grossman is grossly overrated. The games are going to become more meaningful, and I don't see Rex continuing on the pace he's on. I like the Bears to make the playoffs, but they will most likely lose the first game they play in, as the Bears don't really have an identity on offense yet. I just don't see a cohesive unit on offense, maybe give em one more year. I think even the Bears fans would have to admit that it's the defense that bails them out and carries them at least some of the time. I see the Bears running into the Falcons and the NFC MVP that is Michael Vick in the playoffs this season. I think the Colts might win Sunday night. Did you see the pats on Monday night though....???? Wow! When Manning comes to Foxboro Stadium the fans cheer him on when he enters, it's hilarious, they cheer him because he has played so terrible in every game at Foxboro. He sais it doesn't get to him.. yeah right, I bet he gets pissed every year. That might change this year however. Your true MVP this season is Brady, as he takes a team without his two best recievers in Branch and Givens, and their clutch kicker now with the Colts, and sends them to a superbowl victory.

Sadly, no. With P.Manning and T.Brady throwing it around, Grossman will be overlooked. Plus, the Bears' D is perceived as the strength of that team. If you don't carry your team, you aren't the MVP.

If Steve Nash can win back to back MVP's, anything is possible.
Can he? Perhaps. Will he? Probably not. Its looking like Peyton will take home those honors, especially if he comes out gunning and is victorious against NE.

It's possible. If he keeps putting up a lot of points, doesn't have anymore blunders like he did in Arizona, AND if his team goes undefeated he MIGHT get that recognition. All these thing are still possible.

I don't think a player who threw four INTs and lost two fumbles in a game can become an NFL MVP.

If he can stay healthy sure why not.
Chicago did good without him last year, but they are doing great with him this year.
