infact after watching the champions trophy it is quiet unpredictable whether the aussies will be able to defend their championship
every team in the champions trophy has had one win or more
no team has actually dominated the series
for instance west indies who beat aus and ind lost to england who was far below in confidence the way they fielded against the windies
so u never know how many times will the lightning strike at one place
this world cup is surely going to be exciting

Nope !! though they have all ability to get the cup, with such a class team and performance but still, they ,ll have to face a great resistance......before watching ICC trophy i was sure that it gona be Aussies only , but this trophy has changed my mind.....any team can excel, n West Indies has proved that. they came from qualifying round n after beating stronger teams they are in final.n goin to face Australia. Any of the other teams can emerge as a strong competitor for world cup... but the quality which i like the most abt Australia is their consistency....they always do their best..n for that i will give them plus points.....Yes they are very much deserving team for the world cup, but anything can happen....they wont get the cup that easily....thats for sure.

After seeing the performance of West Indies against South Africa
on 02.11.2006, I do not think it will be easy for Australia to retain the World Cup. If at all they want to retain the World Cup they will have to toil hard.
