I pretty much know how to fight..Ive been in a couple fights already. I know what it takes to win.I have never lost a fight soo far. except to my own brothers and cusins. In a couple days though im fighting a guy that I think I might win or lose. just hear if how I fight is good and just add on. I always keep my head up,fous to keep other person head, Not afraid to get hurt and Iplay soccer so I can kick the skeens pretty hard. Im 5,8 and a runing body. I want to know If there any way to better asure a victory.

You have several points that can be improved on:

Before fight starts, always hold your arms and hands up in front of you like you are waving him off. Does two things, one, it puts you in advantage point as you are already positioned to block a punch, or to go offensive.

Second, it will momentarly distract him from thinking clearly.

Third, never focus on his eyes, they can mislead you, instead focus on a point in the middle of his chest. That way, you can see clearly, his arms, his legs, and keep an eye on his shoulders, as just before he starts a punch with the right hand, his right shoulder will move back in cocking for the punch. Gives you advance warning.

Most fights end up on the ground in grappling. When your opponent moves forward in a crouched position, to grab you and take you down, you step back quickly, and place your hands on the back of his head and push down, and down he goes. Side step and spin around and drop down on his back. Grap his head and neck and pull back in a semi choke hold. At this point, he cannot move. If you are serious about doing some damage, start hammering away at his head, and it will scare the hell out of him.

If your opponent winds up on top of you, having you pinned down, raise your legs up and start hammering into his kidneys with the heels of your shoes. He will be scrambling to get away from you. Kidney punches hurt like hell!

If you decide to do any kicking, never kick with your foot, as you can very easily sprain an ankle. If you want to do a groin shot, just swing the lower portion of your leg between his thighs, and he will go down screaming and moaning.

If you want to end the fight very quickly, when you are standing close to him, always be sure you hit him first, and hit him hard. Hit him in the solar plexis, this is just below the center bones of the rib cage. Hit him as hard as you can, and it will knock the breath out of him, and he will go down like a sack of rocks and probably vomit, and will be out of the fight with one punch.

Actually, fighting is not good, . . . . . . . . someone always gets hurt, . . . .just make sure it is not you.

If I could spend about one week with you, I could make you one lean mean fighting machine, and you would never be defeated.

^^ seems like there already plenty of answers, but i figured i'd put in my two cents since i have a different opinion.

DO NOT TRY TO LEARN NEW THINGS. unless you have a lot of time on your hands before the fight, you are better off completely mastering the skills you have used before and has worked for you.
that's because the skill you been using up to now is already in mind and body as first or second instinct, by trying to learn something new you only disturb that instinct and create slower reaction time.

rather try to better the techniques that had worked for you in previous fights and try to find a loop holes in them and fix those. this way the technique that is already first and second instinct becomes even faster. now if you have time to train for the fight, like a good month or more, then experiment all you can until it's few weeks before the fight and that's when you start training the best moves you found and the best moves you had.

A fight has no winners. It is a willing physical clash between two people's egos.
Do not fight.

If you enjoy "roughing" up a little bit get into a more contact sport. Or go train in an actual martial art. You will be given a safe place to spar and you will learn so much more than fighting.

why kick the shins?kick his balls and then poke his eyes 0r punch his throat wont kill him and when he gets up hell be pissed but it gives u enough time 2 put him in a hold or runnaway or what not

if u kick hella slow like most ppl dont kick cas hell just catch ur foot and bring it up 2 ur head then u fall and he has ur leg in 1 hand while ur on ur back.... cot good.... lickwise if he trys 2 kick u and its rancidly slow catch it.... mostlikly on its way back from ur gut.... it hurts but when u got his leg in ur hands you dont care... trust me.... let ur imagination go wild.. u can make him eat his toes or run backwards and make him do the splits... w/e

Get in close?- u can give him a little mental slap by brushin ur hand on his balls while u bring it up under his chin (so he cant see it as good) grab his throat (dont b shy with the throat his whatchamacallit windpipe thinggy protects his vitals..... sept 4 the arteries... but ur not in a knife fight and u dont know how 2 do blood chokes so well leave those alone) step ur foot behind his and use it 2 trip him as u throw him down by the throat... ( besure 2 brush his balls it takes his focus away and makes him easier 2 throw) if this played out right ( which things never do) hue on his back a bit tearry eved from chokin with ur foot inbetween his legs.. put him in a hold.. or run.. but ur a scrapper so ull prabably mount him like a jon and start pounding him in the face..... oh well... u crazy animal u

when u punch go 4 soft spots dont be a ganster and "bust his jaw" or "crack ur grillspitter on his forehed" the solar plexus is also always fun 2 hit.... DO NOT HIT HIS SPINAL COLUMN.... EVER... OR A BIG GAY AUY IN JAIL WILL RAPE U and dont switch ur front foot or try 2 jump or ne thing keep ur feet grounded or ull b on the pathment.. unless u wanna go 4 a kick...if u do curl ur toes back and kick him with the balls of ur feet or the heel.... breaking ur own toes wouldint b fun and watch out cas he could pull a knife or sumthin or could get his pals on u... there r no rules in a fight.... honestly the only way 2 win a fight 100% guarenteed - dont get in 1... second run.... if ur alright u win.... everything i have told u is for self defence purposes only ofcoarse and i trust u a perfect stranger 2 only use reasonable force ; p

well thats the thing about fighting, Unless you know the other guy is a dufus, you never really know what he's bringin'! Watch for the right time, and have more willpower. dont let him get you in a bad spot. use ground skills and controll the situation as much as you can, or just fight dirty.

practice Practice PRACTICE..

i see tons of fighters in cage matches that think they're good fighters, they've been in a few fights and won, but to the core they're just street fighters.. yeah they walk around town thinking they're tough and that no one can kick they're @$$, but then they stop fighting these mediocre fighters and end up going against a fighter whose truely skilled, spends most his time in the gym and trains to win.. then they get a cruel reality check..

nowadays, being a good fighter isn't enough... you have to have strong training regemin...

focus on your striking combos, kicking, and ground work both in the guard and mount..
pay special attention to your cardio! there's nothing more disappointing than watching a good fighter run out of gas in the ring..

If you really want to take fighting seriously, you should start on conditioning. You need to make your body a weapon so you will be able to flat out hurt people. I believe you need to be able to use your strengths. If your strength is striking then you want to stand up and box. If your a good grapppler then take him to the ground don't let him use his strengths against you.

Always punch for something behind the person. Ha! Sounds weird I know, but, what you doing is mentally giving more force to the punch and it like they just got in the way.

concentrate on the thing you want most, which is to win. have determination and confidence that you can accomplish it. Even thought the fighting part is physical, you also have to remember that half of it is also in the mind. Show no fear and look at him/her strait in the eyes.
