Are the Yankees cursed?

2001 - Lost the World Series on a bloop single
2002 - Lost the ALDS in four games to the Angels
2003 - Lost the World Series to the Marlins (the Marlins?!?)
2004 - Blew a 3-0 lead in the ALCS to their hated rivals, Boston
2005 - Again lost the ALDS to the Angels
2006 - AGAIN lost the ALDS... this time to the Tigers!

Now, some of you might say, "What are you talking about? They just won back in 2000!" Yeah they did. But six seasons without a World Series win in New York is like an eternity. With the kind of lineups that they've had over the past couple years, how in the world they're going through a six-year championship drought is beyond me. Who else thinks that this is the start of a Yankees curse, like the Curse of the Bambino? I mean, come on. They assemble one of the greatest lineups ever seen and lose in the first round? How do you explain it?

You had thought you would win the world series again your big 200 million dollar pay roll. Just shows you don't need big sluggers to win the world series, start crying again, yankees suck, suck hard. Putting the redsox down cause they didn't make the playoffs, detroit knocked you out, detroit the team that lost over 100 games last year. Sucks to be you yankee fans, hahahahahahah

Once again Notre Dame beat a lousy team today. . . I suppose now we will have to hear how great they are for another month and how great Brady Quinn is for another month until they actually play a team worth a damn! Notre Dame has two. . .and only two good teams on their schedule this year. . . Michigan already piss pounded them and USC will do the same at the end of the year. Brady Quinn puts up decent numbers against lousy teams but does NOTHING against good teams. I've heard enough about this OVER rated team already to make me puke chunks!!! There are 35 teams that SHOULD be ranked ahead of them but aren't because Notre Dame started the year waaaaayy to high in the rankings! The only team that is ever even remotely as over rated is Auburn who. . . like many SEC teams. . . is ALWAYS over rated! I'm not a Notre Dame hater. . . just sick of hearing about this over rated, over hyped, media darling!

Dont get me wrong the D-x back in the 90's was something new and they were really entertaining.But now Its tired the gimmick and Shawn needs to be sidelined with a knee problem and his "Christian Beliefs" have given D-X limited options unless shawn agrees with them.

We know how everyone feels about A-Rod, and people go out of thier way to trash him. But why is there never anything bad to say about the AL MVP Derek Jeter? Spend less time trashing the rest of the overpaid Yanks and more time commending a "true" Yankee. Seriously, why not give Jeter his props? Do you love to hate someone that much? Can't you just appreciate the game of baseball? I'm an A's fan, but at least I respect the Yankees, and all MLB teams.

1)ohio state...as much as I want to put my beloved Michigan team in front,I can't just yet.
2)Michigan...Perhaps the best thing we got is our deffense,its fanominal
3)Florida...I have liked this team the whole year,again today they prove they belong in this spot
4)USC,lots of talent but they did almost lose to Washington today...(style points do count in the BCS)
5)Texas...West Virginia doesn't belong here until they beat a descent team.
