Take it down to lesser skills, targeting, jumping, ball-carrying.
Start with jumping, get near a wall with some kind of marker in your hand, jump as high as you can, stick your hand straight out from your shoulder and mark on the wall, then measure it to see how close to 10' that is. If it's at 10', that's fine, you don't need to jump any better than you already do. If it's less, then you need to work on your jumping technique, find some other athletes to watch inperson and talk to, and not just basketball players either, hurdle-runners, volley-ball players, etc. Look at where they put their feet for each of the three steps before the jump, their posture, and how they crouch or use their leg-muscles.. Then mimic them when you practise, and find out your own best way.
When you can jump to 10' at your shoulder, can you carry the ball while jumping? If there is a hoop-wide vertical hole whose bottom edge is at 10', can you jump up and stiff-arm the ball thru?
If not, work on it.
When you've got those 2 mastered, it should suddenly all come together and you'll find yourself dunking almost automatically.

you can buy Strenght shoes, but you must be dedicated to wear them.
here goes.
Jog, 1/2 mile, stretch.then do this 5 times rest 30 seconds. first week do 2 of each so you wont be too sore.
50 yard sprints
50 yard power skips,
50 yard power slides
50 yard hopping.
hop in place-15 seconds--knees to chest
jump rope, 1 min- 30 sec rest. 5 times.
jump up onto a step or something that is 18 inches high. 10 times.
then 24 or so inches high. 10 times.
run backwards. after 4 weeks go up 25 yards or 50. \
then jog 1/2 mile when done. and stretch again.
legs should be sore, along with upper back muscles...
give it 4 months. maybe less if you are in shape.... 3 times a week.

You mentioned nothing about your weight...6'4 and 180lbs makes dunking a lot easier than 6'4 and 350lbs
If weight is not your problem, do exercises to strengthen your calf muscles...and practice jumping!!!
GOOD LUCK!!
Thanks for the 2 points.

you should build up your core muscles and your thigh muscles. i know for volleyball you have to work on this too(for jumping) so it should work.
