Ok, first i'd like to start off by saying that the people who answer the question need to get their heads on their shoulders - Only cause of answers like the Nationals and other teams not in the playoffs.
Detroit has been this year's Cinderella team in baseball. I forsee the Mets going to the series with the Tigers, but I think the Tigers take it in 7.

it depends on if the mets can beat the cards or not. if they do i think they will be the champs in 7! but if they dont pull it out it will be detroit. stl doesnt stand a chance against them! and by the way the yankees never had a chance to win it!

I see the Mets winning it all because they have the best team overall and the way the Tigers were celebrating winning a division series, they're just happy to be here and aren't really that committed to winning the title. A's always seem to fade as do the Cardinals, there are track records with those teams. So basically by the process of elimination the Mets...and I'm an unbiased Indians fan.

i believe it will come down to the tigers and the cardinals...the tigers sure have the momentum, but don't discount the cardinals who after a dismal collapse at the end of the season which almost cost them the opportunity to even get in the playoffs, they seem to be putting everything together now....7 games, but i believe the cardinals will tame the tigers and become the next world champs!

I have to go with the Tigers, they look really good and it seems that everyone on the team is on a hot streak when it comes to hitting. I did not like them at the start of the playoffs, i figured they would fade away like the Tigers of old but I was worng, i am believer now.

Tigers have the best pitching in the playoffs they will win it all. The celebration was for the fans the Tigers clinched the playoff spot on the road so to win the ALDS at home in Detroit was special.

tigers are hot as a pistol now and i think only the mets can stop them but they have to get by the cards first and its not looking good with the cards up 2-1
