Just seeing if they have any chance of making the playoffs

I'd be surprised if they don't make a run at the playoffs. I see them finishing around 9th though in the west.

Goaltending is a big concern for me though.

The season is very early, but it looks like the Hawks have an improved team. Only time will tell if they have improved enough to make it to the post season, they are in a tough conference with the likes of the Red Wings, Ducks, Sharks , Flames, Oilers, Avs and Coyotes and Stars. A good team will miss the playoffs in the Western Conference this year.

I'd like to see them do well except against the Red Wings. They have the second best logo in the NHL (behind the Red Wings). I am having a hard time getting into hockey this year because of the Tigers doing so well in baseball. And I am not sure I can forgive the Red Wings brass for getting Hasek back AGAIN! What were they thinking?

Anyway, you just never know what will happen in the NHL! I hope for the best for the Blackhawks. But not against the Red Wings. :o)

We will have to wait and see now wont we,I was very surprise when I seen Florda beat Boston 8-2,So if Florda can do it,so can the Blackhawks.

They've played how many games? Two? I wouldn't get too excited about them being above .500. Give 'em a week or two and see where they are then--right back in the basement.

Nope... Sorry to say it, but the only teams you can beat are the Leafs and Islanders...

It's just a couple games into the season.
