or is it still considered religious to this day?

I'm talking about December 31st and January 1st, by the way.

I'm sure that at SOME POINT it had to've been religious, people have been celebrating it since 2000BC.

Isn't responding to my intense love for Him? I feel that He has abandoned me. I can't even enjoy my favorite activities, the time I spend with family and friends, and my breakfast, lunch, and dinner, without thinking about Him. My love for God is consuming me. I think about Him 24/7. I want to have an intimate relationship with Him like Jesus did. I want to live life in the spirit like Jesus did. But with all of this false teaching and the focus on wealth doctrine, I can't seem to get answers from the church. Instead this "prosperity doctrine" seems to be creating a system in the church that is similar to the system of the world..and that is the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. I want the basics of how to be like Jesus. I don't care about money or wealth. To me a life without a deep relationship with God like Jesus had, makes life useless. Is there anyone out there that can help me get to the same place spirituality where Jesus, Smith Wigglesworth were?

Do they still believe the earth is the center of the universe? Is their belief still the dogma of hiding your head in the sand? How much PROOF do you need to over come your beliefs?

Do people all over the USA not care what is happening to WE THE PEOPLE as it pertains to our rights. Take your eyes of the television once in a while and read what is happening...We still have access to libraries. The internet...If you don't pay attention to what is going on I fear there will be no more WE THE PEOPLE no matter what party you belong to. Speak up do WE THE PEOPLE care anymore?.....I DO...

it was Christ who did it and not the cross. Why do so many where a cross around your neck? If someone killed your son or daughter, would you wear a symbol of the gun around your neck to remind you of them?

I am 23 years old and have really no interest in church or organized religion. I am not religious at all and just believe in living a peaceful and pleasant life. I do believe in a god, but one that accepts people for who they are and is very loving
and forgiving.

People have told me I am going through a phase and it will change, do you agree with that?

This is a totally hypothetical, theoretical question. Feel free to answer it from a secular point of view, since I know one answer could simply be that God would not allow a Pope to do these things so it just wouldn't happen.

What if a few years from now a Pope was elected and he changed his mind on a bunch of issues, became more liberal, or claimed to have divine revelations.

And suppose this new Pope suddenly said that women should be ordained, amd priests could marry, among other changes that once seemed unthinkable.

What would happen?

Would it be within the Pope's authority to make these changes?

i was looking through old questions and it freaked me out that i found someone else ith the same experience...i used to be anorexic. for around 2 years my weight was my main concern...calories,excersize,even when my family had started to notice...yea i was getting BAD. But anyways, i JUST found soome else on Y!A who had the same thing! they used to be anorexic and after becoming wiccan they stopped! ( i just thought it was amazing) THE QUESTION: did wicca effect you in any big way like this? something i've realized is most wiccans are extremely fun and lively people, they arn't as unhappy (NOT because of magick like silver ravenwolf would have you believe)but because they have found a religion with loving deities and no fear tactics...also they live life to the fullest and when you do that self-denial like anorexia seems horrible!!!!

blessed be!

It is clearly stated in scripture, but they have changed the word to judgment, or they remove the verse completely.

If there is no eternal damnation, then is their opinion that you can live as vile and evil a life as you want, and when you die, you just cease to exist?

Before anyone jumps on me about this, I was told this by someone who knocked on my door several years ago. He was offended when I would not even look at his literature.

I mean, don't you think he would have been a little bored before Earth since he's existed forever? Perhaps he has created life elsewhere?

Example you accept Jesus as your saviour and you do good deeds but sometimes made some mistakes that might be sinful like having sex without being married.

You then are accepted to Heaven. Outside the door of heaven, you are who you were the same as you left earth a second before. Once you enter heaven, you are the same as when a second before entering heaven from outside the gate. You see?

So, basically, you were the same self when you were a sinner on earth and you are basically the same person of mind when you enter heaven. The same old sinner that you are.

So, why does accepting Jesus suddenly make you no longer a sinful person or of such sinful nature?

Unless, your mind has been somehow altered like being a robot or reprogrammed only to obey God. You should not have free will because if you do then there is always the chance you could be sway to do things against God like any of those fallen angels with free will.

Believers think they are perfect sinless inheaven

so long that it had the opposite effect
I mean lets take a person who was already a very good person with a genuine and pure heart

now, they go through a great suffering, are DEEPLY humbled and even more compassionate than they ALREADY were to begin with..ok..so,i guess thats good
but what about, this now they have learned much and sufferd much and theres just no end to their sufering
none of which is self inflicted

my question is when does it get to the point
that you can only be so humbled, and so much of a better person...until you just snap and become quite the opposite

so instead of becoming better, youve taken an already better person and just destroyed them

WE ARE NOT ANGELS or prophets WE ARE HUMANS
WERE NOT HERCULES!!
please dont say God doesnt give more than we can bear bla bla
if that were true there wouldnt be so many suicides!!

all i really want to know is if anyone agrees that NO sometimes suferring is unneccesary and can destroy a person whose already

If the world were to end, or the earth were to suddenly explode, what would happen to God? Would he lose his entire purpose?

I know that the tithe of your organization is taken from

Isa 43:10 Ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD, and My servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me.

In the New Testament,
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Thus, Jehovah of Isaiah 43, is He not also the same Person who you all are witnessing for in Acts 1; that the Lord Jesus Christ is Jehovah!!!??
