I think you're normal and healthy and smart.
I'm 19 have no interest in organized religion and feel that people should just accept one another and let others do what they wish etc etc..
I cannot stand organized religion b/c of all the hypocrisy and the hatred that it has spread. How many wars have been fraught in the name of god? Too many I say. Religion doesn't seem to unite people it divides. It might unite people in a particular group. Like the Catholics are united with each other etc.. But it seems to me that each group has animosity toward all the others. There is so much us them attitudes and fighting and ugh.. it makes me sick. No one has the only correct way of believing and what works for one may not work for someone else. People are so immature and blinded by these belief systems that have been passed down generation to generation and never questioned. People need to start thinking for themselves and not always taking some 2000 year old book to heart. Do what feels right in your heart not what some other person or some book told you.
What is better? Acting kindly and morally because a book told you to or b/c mommy and daddy told you to.. or acting kindly and morally on your own accord b/c you feel it's the right thing.

I don't see how you're "going through a phase" ...whoever said that is just hoping that you'll eventually start believing what they believe in. It's not a "phase" at all. You know how you feel and have very logical and reasonable thoughts on how to live life. I really don't see how this would change for you.

I think, if anything, you will grow more into your feelings. I pray that your god turns into God. I was a non-believer, for years. Found when I was at my very lowest point, I called out to God. He answered, and I've been a believer ever since. But it's taken me a long time to grow into what I am now----still growing too.

I am a Christian. I didn't get saved till I was 48, and before that was an agnostic, raised by an atheist. After l0 years in really strict churches, I am telling you, DON'T GET RELIGION. Accept Jesus, love people like he did, and be yourself! There is truly a difference! "Religious" people can ruin your life. I don't know how to explain it, but they tell you you are free, but you have to comply with their standards. Read the bible, find out what Jesus said and did. Find a Learn!!

You are fine. Be Loving and Forgiving of yourself and others. That is the essence of God. Church is a devise of man. Read the Holy Bible and see if you relate to it. If not learn about other religions and see what fits. God is bigger than our ablility to define him.

I believe you should live your own life, and not let others have a bearing on how you live. If you are happy with your life as it is why change anything? I believe there is nothing wrong with your view, you just have a good head on your shoulders.

How is this a phase at all? It's how you feel and think. Maybe someday your god will be God. It's all up to you. I think you have a good idea of how life should be, though.

Dude, people tell you that because they are delusionally religious. Yeah, it's perfectly fine. It's sad that people try to make you feel it isn't.
Funny how some people fail to understand that Christianity is a religion too.

It is normal.
Perhaps you're agnostic.
As far as believing in a God that will accept all and is loving, I am Catholic, and I strongly believe that the God I believe in accepts everyone, and is loving and merciful, and the whole shabang. Afterall, the Bible does teach us to love thy neighbor. Just loads of prejudice people using religion for the wrong thing. :(
