I saw him on CNN other day, while talking about Britney, and how she can come back from all of this... I was really impressed by what he said. I want to read more about him, but hmmm, can not remember his name...

I noticed yesterday on my cousin's Myspace page, she wrote "I enjoy being around people who aren't afraid to say they believe in God." This I found interesting, because I had not really thought about being afraid to tell people you believe in God.. for me, it has always been that I am sometimes afraid to tell people I *don't* believe in God (mainly because nearly everyone I know does believe).

I can recall, however, feeling embarassed in high school when my best friend Jessie would try to convert our friends to Christianity and get them saved and all that.

So, do you ever feel afraid to admit you believe in God?

all the stuff about not touching pigskin and stoning adulterers. I get frustrated with all the people who think those laws are still part of Christian belief. Extra credit for showing us exactly which OT laws still do apply, and why.

Where does the Holy spirit come from?

Amo 3:1 "Hear this word that Yahweh hath spoken against you, O children of Israyl, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,"
Amo 3:2 "You only have I known of all the families of the earth: ..."

Does He now know everyone?
If you are an Egyptian lets say, do you see this passage as a threat?
Does this have any relation to:
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

So is the Amos 3 passage still true or not?

I don't believe in God or a afterlife but I do believe in ghosts and I find myself sometimes talking to loved ones who have passed away even though i'm sure they can't hear because well there dead. I don't even understand it myself. Are there any other Atheists out there that do the same? How can I believe in ghosts if I don't believe in a afterlife?

Here is a question I also have how can some people believe in a afterlife and heaven yet believe in reincarnation at the same time?

I'm glad that someone finally decided to do something about it. ( Sen. Grassley of Iowa is investigating the "wealth evangelists").
I believe it is absurdly wrong to make people worship the Lord for financial reasons. When did faith become so morally wrong?
What are your thoughts?

If you believe the Bible, which is a necessity to be a Christian, can you give me scriptural justification for believing that it is an ok way to conduct your life? If you don't have scriptural backing, how can you hold this belief?

I know what I believe the Bible says, and I know that many non-Christians believe this lifestyle is acceptable, but I am looking for answers from professed Christians here. I already know what many other people would say in answer to this, I'm looking for something else. Please respect my parameters for this question. Thank you.

If you need to keep saying that, something's wrong. Isn't it because, maybe, it is not peaceful and you have to keep lying to yourself and others? I'm sure that the overwhelming majority is made up of normal, peaceful folks, but Islam truly is/was violent at the core. Buddhism, on the other hand, is indeed peaceful and you don't hear buddhists saying that all the time, if ever, because everyone knows that through the way they act.

According to the book of Psalms 10:4. As well as chapter
14:1. So does this make any legitimate point ? The
powerful prophecy behind the Word. How it speaks on
your very own ways, and unbelieving spirit. It was written
before the day you were even born. Now how did that
ever happen. Prophecy. All of the things you see
in the Bible in the book or Revelations, are going on
before your very eyes. And there are many more to
come. And during the period when you are taken to
the slaughter house, by the Anti Christ, it was said,
that some of you shall believe. This will be a moment
of redemption, and some will even be saved. Yes
some of you. Yes you. But don't take my word for it......
It is only a matter of time. ~~~ Oh what a bad day to
be an, oh well, an Atheist. * Bible verse speaks
against those who reject the Father and His existence.
What do you think about that ? Best answer wins. ***
