King James did not change the bible, he just had it translated into English, he could not read German or Latin. Martin Luther changed the bible by removing 7 books and any verse he did not agree with.

ADDED Bibles in English prior to the KJV had been around since the time of Henry the 8th.

Many men in power have changed that book.

And, since it widely known that king james changed it, why to people insist on the "king james verision" of the bible??

He didn't he payed the team of translators...
He wanted people to be able to read it in English.

All the mistakes are the translators doing.

Edit: I think Glenn is referring to the establishment of the Church of England by Henry the 8th, that happened before the KJV.

Edit: Wow lots of people are talking about Henry the 8th..the will to answer questions so innacurately baffles me. King James wasn't even a Tudor, let alone Henry the 8th.

PERHAPS.... you are...." IGNORANT "... [ Def. Un-Informed ] .... of what Expired in England when the Catholic Church was Kicked OUT..... and the Church of England.... TOOK OVER!

There ware OTHER ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS.... of the Holy Scriptures..... Like the one of John Huss.... which were sold in England!

The Catholic Church.... DID NOT WANT.... the average Person to be Able to Read... THE WORD OF GOD....!

Hence.... Not a Universal Translation ! The OT Hebrew and NT Greek.... were kept by the Catholic Church.... IN LATIN.... which is the Official CC... Language... ' TO HIDE THE SCRIPTURES.... from the People!

OH YES......

.... Do .... < YOU > Study the Original HEBREW and GREEK.... so that YOU... can tell..... " US ALL.....?".....where the Bible was.... SUPPOSEDLY CHANGED... by James.... then King of England? ? ?
