In case you haven't been around for the past 200 years, there's something called freedom of speech. People are allowed to talk about whatever they so desire in they're music. And besides you're simply generalizing here. You are far from reality with that implication you're making regarding rap. Just listen to Lupe Fiasco. He's amazing. He doesn't drink or smoke, and instead of solely talking about guns, drugs, women, and cars in his songs, he opts to talk about more worldly things in his music like the plight of the children soldiers in Africa, or the blood diamond affair in Africa. He also degrades modern day rappers and considers them to plague the children by advocating negative things like drugs, guns, etc. Just listen to "Daydreaming", which got nominated for a grammy. A rapper named "Common" is the same way. So no, by no means should that be remotely close to be considered an offense at all, never mind a capital offense.

I don't like rap but I think you are watching far too much trash television to every make a statement like that. Rap is an urban movement stemming from opression, and the fact that voices are not being heard. Actually I rebuddle, I really like 'Grand Master Flash' but that was 1979. He would be the pioneer, but yes gold teeth and mansions don't really interest me much.

Thats a tough one. In most cases yes. I am assuming you mean rape. In some cases though, it was consensual and the women is just mad at the guy for some reason. For flat open forcable rape yes, but there should be DNA evidence and such.
If you meant rap as in the music, ya that should be a capital offense too. Telling kids its ok to kill other people, to kill police, that drugs are ok, that women are merely sex objects, that all that matters is money.

The values and morals promoted by today's popular hip-hop artists (Kanye West, 50-Cent, G-Unit, Def Jam Records, Jay-Z, Diddy) are absolutely demeaning. The flagrant references to drugs, crime, gangsta culture, mistreatment of women, prostitution, pimping, and uses of the "N" word are heartbreaking. I could go on and on. Please don't get me wrong. I ain't hatin'. With that said, I believe hip-hop/rap is a powerful medium that God can use to spread the good news about Jesus Christ. There is hope for rap. Some of my brothers at Cross Movement Records are being used in wonderful ways for the kingdom of God.

Rap no it should not, it would be a clear violation of a persons right to free speech.
Now R-A-P-E on the other hand would be a different matter. And no, if anything the person should be castrated after repeating the crime the third time

No way. I love rap. Rap is amazing.
You know why I like rap? I like it because it has incredible rhymes and rap songs hold so much substance. It's true that rap has bad language but what about freedom of speech?

I'm assuming you mean rape? and no...I don't believe in capital punishment. Because I'm a Christian, I believe that everyone deserves forgiveness...no matter what they've done, and if we kill them all off, how will they ever get to know Jesus? And I believe that everyone has done something wrong....and that a person can't be in their right mind to want to hurt anohter person that way....so...no..I don't think it is a crime worthy of punishment by death
