I've noticed some Pagans are uncomfortable with the word "worship." They prefer to say that they "work with" or "honor" their Gods. So, what is wrong with worship? Is it that you have a different relationship with the Divine than in other religions? Or do you just have hangups about words that remind you of the religion you left? Or, do you think of it as worship? Why or why not?

I'm a Christian and I tell others so they can know Jesus Christ the only way into heaven. Don't give me a stupid answer like because it is the truth.

Especially with the R & S crowd, but I have to ask... Why is everyone so concerned about judging other's eternal destination? ( i.e. "they're going to hell because they don't "... )Why isn't everyone more concerned with THIS life? Now is the chance we are given to make an impact and focus on repairing the world for future generations. If people would go give blood or volunteer somewhere instead of concerning themselves with the salvation of others, I believe a lot more could get accomplished.

I want people to view my answers and then discuss my views or beliefs. I know some of the questions and anwers aren't important. discuss me.

But if you take a look at my answers i think it would be good to look at a lot of them to get a greater idea of my understanding in life. unfortunately most of them are in the religion and immigration sections. i didn't have time for other topics

will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works
6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

If not how can you say that abortion is not murder?

That fetus that some don't want to call human is not the mother's DNA so how can she own someone else's DNA? Are we ready to go back and justify slavery too?

I sometimes feel like having faith is wrong. Like I'm stupid, or wrong for being a theist. I feel like people scoff at me, or look at me like someone to be pitied.

I was raised Catholic, and I believe in parts of what that faith teaches, but not eveything. Same goes for other faiths I've studied.

I think religion and science are both just ways to connect with some higher purpose or meaning. For me, that's a God.

I continue to go to a Catholic church not because I believe everything I'm told, but because I believe the basic morals taught are important. I feel that people look down on me for that choice.

I'm 20, by the way.

I have a met a lot of pagans and atheist who were not only Christian but went to semenary school. This highly amuses me since many Christians first question is "Have you ever read the Bible?" So I was wondering how many we have here on the boards?

I've been told that, as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or Mormon, I believe in a different Jesus than other Christians. I am only aware of one Jesus. Were there really two of them? Who was the other Jesus' mom? Did he still perform any miracles? Did they live around the same time? Did they know each other? Did they compete for followers? I'm really confused now.
