You know I do. But if I have to "label" my "religion" I am an adherent of Advaita Vedanta, which is a Hindu philosophy, and I have sympathies with Kashmir Shaivism (a slightly different Hindu philosophy that goes under the umbrella of Tantric Hinduism) and Yoga Tantra. I am strongly drawn to Hermeticism and Neoplatonism (and Alchemy) because, to me, it closely corresponds with the eastern beliefs--and practices--that I ascribe to. I regard magickal ceremonial in the same way as I regard Tantric rites, rituals, and practices that I've performed. From the outside it looks different, but it is exactly the same and the mystical effect is exactly the same. I think this is a great thing, because I feel as if I have come home to something in my own western tradition that I heretofore didn't appreciate and didn't know was there--like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.

I am currently taking instruction in a group that focuses on magickal Christianity. When I get far along enough with it and my peripheral studies, I have ambitions of studying with the Aurum Solis or one of its offshoots.

Yes. I was taught in a Traditional Celtic Ceremonial coven (lots of High Magick). I now practice in a two-person coven (my husband and myself) in a tradition of Witchcraft with some Wicca involved. Yes, my religion does affect my magick. As I said, Ceremonial Magick or High Magick is very different than the natural magick practiced by, say, Scott Cunningham.

I suppose it depends on WHAT yuo mena by "practice Magick". I don't use spellworking very much at all, in fact, in over 35 years of being a Witch I have only actually DONE 3 spells in all that time. However I do use Magick in everything I do, as I invoke Goddess and God into my daily life. I use Magick as I make candles, make Mead and Wines, wrok on small handicrafts, conduct my ceremonies, conduct healings, do divination readings, things like that. But as for actual spells, not really. My thoughts about spells is that they are the means of LAST resort, after ALL mundane efforts have met with failure, Or if the taks is too great for myself as ONE single person to effect, such as a healing spell for the Earth or something enormous like that.

Yes. I practice Daemonolatry, and my religious choice does effect my magick because I am partial to the use of certain symbols, sigils, invocations and I'll often use magick for self-work. However, I still have my own eclectic style. I'll perform kitchen witchery just as often as I'll practice ceremonial type magick. Whatever suits my purpose.

Yes, I do. I am a Pagan, and a Thelemite. I see Magick as an inner process, a way of attuning myself with the Universe, and coming closer to an understanding of my True Will. I work with several different traditions of Magick, particularly the works of Crowley, and the classical Grimoires. I do adapt the workings to be compatible with my religious beliefs, mostly by "Paganizing" Christian and Jewish Grimoires. It seems to work well for me. This practice actually started with Crowley, who added an invocation from the Greek Magical Papyri to his translation of the Goetia.

Yes I do magick....I don't label myself with any religion or term, but I am a former witch. It makes no difference whatsoever to my practice, but there are many different ways to practice magick depending on the person's path.

Yes, we practice magic.

No, we do not change the spelling like a lot of the new age writers like to do.

We know the difference between the "magic" that an illusionist practices and real magic, which is manipulation and focus of naturally occurring energies of the universe.

We are Gardenerian Wiccans and our choice of paths has no effect on our magic, or our ability to perform it.

Not really, I am Asatru and it is really not a part of ritual in my beliefs. But I have always thought of magick as a way to attune ones self to the energy that surrounds them and use it for personal need. I do it through meditation.

As a amtter of fact I DO practice Magic (I refuse to use that superflous "K" It's OUR word let the illusionists change THEIR spelling!) As far as my religion it is Asatru. It does hafe some impact on my magical practices as I tend to focus more on the Runes and on Galdr, but I do use magic from outside of the Norse path for things where I already have a successful working from some area that I have on hand, or that just seems more right to me.
