The thing about miracles is if you have faith you don't need them, and if you are a doubter, well then no miracle is ever enough.

I cant live like this anymore.I have fallen into a deep deep dark hole and i'm afraid that I will not get out of this darkness alive.I cannot bear to live like this anymore. There is no happiness in my life.It even hurts to smile. This sadness has become excruciating and unbearable. All I do is lay in bed all day.All my tears are gone.I cried them all away.I dont even bathe or brush my teeth some days. The only time I feel any relief from this misery is when I am asleep.Every night before I fall asleep I hope that I will wake up happy...but when I wake up all that I feel is this dark cloud over me.Prayer does not work anymore. What did I do to God to make him ignore me? I have given up asking him for his help.I dont want to talk to him anymore.I am only twenty eight years old and I feel that my life is just about over.I just cant take the pain anymore

Is Christianity being exploited by the ruling elite to achieve economic objectives?
Is the War in Iraq or on Terror a worthy crusade, or is Christianity being used to promote the geopolitical policies of Social Darwinists?

Does having more converts mean it is the true religion?
(Matthew 7:13-14) 13 “Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.

wouldn't it be better if few went there?

If it were simply a religious observance, would it still have the same meaning to you? Would it still be a day you looked forward to all year long? Try to imagine: if it were a day with no feasting, no gifts, no holiday displays, or music, or anything celebratory, but simply was the day set aside to honour Christ's birth, can you honestly say it would hold as much meaning for you? Would you cherish it as "the most wonderful time of the year?"

Would the religious association be enough.....?

On December 31st I am going in to the hospital to have some cancer removed. They have not been able to remove it and keep moving the date back further and further. I would just like to get some prayers going for me. I am so scared! I don't care what religion you are just pray. And to all my atheist friends...your well wishes will be appreciated just as much. Thank you all!

Has anyone here noticed that the pastafarian 'religion' is a spoof of other beliefs? 'RAmen' is Amen with an 'R'. 'Pastafarian' is Rastafarian with a P instead of an R. The Spaghetti name was stolen from the Italians. All of it is a spoof. They never made up anything to claim as their own. They even say that the flying spaghetti monster planted all the evidence for evolution. They even bite off evolution. Evolution was an original idea by Charles Darwin, 'God' is an original name that wasn't bitten off anything. Heaven and Hell, all original. Why does pastafarianism steal from other religions in order to support their religion, if it is right?

What goes through your mind when driving or walking by a graveyard or cemetery?

I think of the tombs and how each tomb represents a person who lived at one time.

I also think of God's punishment for our sins.

I also think about the day when those bodies will be resurrected by the amazing power of God on resurrection day as promised by God through His word the Bible.

How about you?

What goes through your mind?

The argument "If we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?"
Is this supposed to be your trump card or your strong finish or something? Even if we do excuse the terminology ('monkeys') it still seems like it would be an extremely weak argument. In spite of that it seems to frequent this forum.

So my question to you is, do you have any real arguments that may question the theory of evolution?

The best answer goes to the person with the most reasonable argument against evolution, so lets dig deep here.

I am so tired of self righteous Christians giving the impression to the world that we are holier than thou! I smoke, and I love Jesus, I drink, and I love Jesus. I don't hate gays, my father was bisexual and I took care of him till the day he died. I don't hate gays, I don't hate drunks, and I don't expect anyone to be perfect, and neither does Jesus. He came here to save the lost, not condemn them! God loves every one of us, and sometime I am actually ashamed to admit I'm a Christian because of the impression people give. It's not about BEING GOOD. It's about mercy, and truth, and the fact that he created everyone of us for a purpose. It's a message of love, not hate or division. So, does anyone feel the way I do?

I believe in God and in Jesus, I would consider myself a Christian, believing in everything, I was raised a Catholic. Anyway, my boyfriend has in the past six months become a lot more than I am, meaning attending church every Sunday and joining in groups to study and talk about God and to pray. He says that until I call unto God and jesus to help me and for God's love then we can't be as happy as we could be. And we always come back to this same situation. I do believe...but I don't know I feel like he wants more from me and bringing me down. I don't know what to tell him. I love him so much, and i know he loves me and he is truly saying this from his heart ....but I can't feel it like he does! I just can't...I have my own relationship with God, and I don't feel comfortable worshiping outloud and with other people. I dont know. Is he right to say this? What would you do...any advice...please? I feel like Im being forced into something i can't do..and then feeling bad for it!

I learned recently that mormons believe they and their spouses and their entire family will live together in the afterlife.

What about other churches? What will the afterlife be like, according to your beliefs? Will you live eterninty with your husband/wife??

I believe nudism is okay as a christian, because God made humans as the last thing he did, and made them naked. Humans only put on clothes after sin entered into the world and with sin came shame. So I believe Christians should follow nudism or naturalism to fully appreciate God's wonderous creations, us.

If you don't believe me go to google, type in is it ok to practice nudism as a christian? and your get tons of info from people supporting this view.
