Has anyone here noticed that the pastafarian 'religion' is a spoof of other beliefs? 'RAmen' is Amen with an 'R'. 'Pastafarian' is Rastafarian with a P instead of an R. The Spaghetti name was stolen from the Italians. All of it is a spoof. They never made up anything to claim as their own. They even say that the flying spaghetti monster planted all the evidence for evolution. They even bite off evolution. Evolution was an original idea by Charles Darwin, 'God' is an original name that wasn't bitten off anything. Heaven and Hell, all original. Why does pastafarianism steal from other religions in order to support their religion, if it is right?

This is simply not true. Other religions generally look quite silly to the unfaithful. It is only your indoctrination by the apastic teachings of public schools and false churches that has lead you astray. It is true than some members of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster do not take the written Word of the Gospel of the FSM literally, preferring instead to interpret it metaphorically for the lessons it has to teach. This is true of other religions too.
The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the source of all truth. He loves you and wants to answer your questions. Therefore, He will help you recognize the truth as you sincerely seek it and ask Him for guidance. Read The Gospel of the FSM. You can know if the things you are learning are true if you ask the FMS in prayer. If that doesn't convince you, then think about the eternal sufferings you will endure by having only stale beer and VD infected strippers in the afterlife if you don't believe!

Lol nah. I think the scripture writers wrote things based on what they experienced of higher reality as they say and they could only relate it in story form allegorically to portray the dynamics of what they called knowledge and understanding of self and the processes and laws that go along with what they viewed as the higher objective of life. They had a specific purpose, I see no satire instead I see a clever manner in explaining the mind and being, especially deterministic laws. BTW - The original scriptures (Hebrew gospel) had nothing to do with Greek mythology and had no interpolations from mystery religions, you're thinking of after centuries of changes especially with the whole Nicea Assembly where it became more like mithraism then anything. One of the points for the NT scriptures was to release people from the pharisee mindset and the very esoteric scriptures of the OT which pretty much was to mystery religion for many people to understand unless they were initiated into the further depths of the movement.

It is all the things that Pastafarians believe Christianity has done. It is done as a parody of Christianity.
I think a sign of a good Christian is to be able to either shrug this sort of thing off or to at least be able to see it as humor, even if a bit juvenile.
