That we had the knowledge and if we had stayed in that environment we would know how to live for ever. In the last days knowledge will increase. And because of that the days will be shorten and God will return. In the last two hundred years mankind have evolved at an excedingly high rate.

This is the Elohim, plural God, version of the Sumerian creation story. It was placed the Bible combined to the Jehovah, or singular God, version of the Sumerian text.
It is an ancient story that has become the Christian religion's belief of the creation. I, myself, look at it as a story and nothing else.

Adam might get greedy and he made Adam he wanted to guide or control Adam in a nice way. He had plans and hopes for him. His creation is getting to big for his britches now.
