Those of you who believe in the theory of evolution what actual PROOF do you have that evolution is a reality?

PLEASE, no conjecture, theory, or rhetoric from 'scientists', but FACTUAL EVIDENCE you, yourself have seen.

(Notice this is the question most of you ask of Christians.

Now, it is your turn to tell us what YOUR proof is. Were you there to witness 'abiogenesis'?

Have you seen ANY animal or evidence of any animal that fits between species?

Don't tell me about the 'book' that you read, either.

Science books are written by MEN.)

{MY Book has 3 eye-witness accounts, 2 one-on-one interviews with eye-witnesses, and many accounts dictated by the Author. How many eye-witness accounts can YOU provide?}

The movie opens up with a moving shot of the universe and Kidman's voice saying, "there are many universes, and many earths, parallel to each other, worlds like yours where people souls live in their body, and worlds like mine, where their souls walk beside them...so many worlds, and connecting them is dust, dust was here before the witches, before everything."

This, I suppose would go contradict the thought that ‘God’ made Earth and nothing else. But it’s a fact that there are other blue-green planets about the same size and about the same distance from their sun as we are from ours.

When are people going to educate themselves?

Today someone was telling me the steps I needed to take to get into heaven and I simply replied "But but...I Doooooont waaaant tooo" in a realy whiny voice.
It actually worked well as the person just looked at me and said "Oh forget it" and walked off.
Have you ever tried this out?

Specifically, spirituality. If an idea threatens your beliefs does it make you angry, or curious?

I would think it is easy to see the askers thinking is trying to create a false correlation. Let me give you an example. I really like red Porsches... I think it is just a very classic look. Can you logically conclude that I like all models of cars in red? Or can you conclude that I like any other models of cars in red? In fact...I do not, red would probalby be one of my last choices. Could the asker just be curious...sure...but is the thinking logical?

first of all, everyone here has made it PRETTY obvious that they beleive what they beleive and dont want that to be changed.
so lets not try to dumb everyone's belief's down and piss everyone off, okay?
secondly, this is the INTERNET.
saying that someone's faith is stupid is pretty... stupid.
someone is just going to get mad. if you hate all other religions that bad, then dont go on R&S Q&A's of Y!A's.

Say someone called you a sleeper( And this is fictional)
And you came from the Hypnos clan. What is a better word dricribing sleep rather than Hypnos

Something that isn't way obvious....like " Sleep" That's to obvious, I need an over exaggerated word, possibly coming from greek roots.

"...This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people."

The reference is Heb 8:10. What does this mean to Christians: "I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts." Wasn't it Paul who declared the law 'fulfilled'"?

I want to say this is NOT a debate, I am trying to get a good understanding of the dynamics of choice regarding Atheism. I would appreciate that everyone respect the answers and not thumbs down every one's answer. I would like to know was it a poor experience with a church? A person of religion? Was it something that happened personally? Did you convert from a religion to Atheism? Tell me more about your journey and what lead you their. THIS is not an us verses them post. I need this for some research work.

how is it that people that claim to have the gift of tounges can talk in other languages , never being taulght a single word. and they can go to a country where it is not there own language and speak to people with there language. and never miss a word, or ever being taught one single word.
can you give one explanation for this?
dont you think it is power from a divine source that gives this avaliable, such as the Holy Ghost.?

Atheists do not judge I assume because they believe there is no right nor wrong everyone can do what they want as long as it does not harm another person....

People of faith never gloat how perfect they are in fact they are proably the ones who are harder on themselves more than anyone because the walk with GOD is a daily struggle (Good and Evil) when my posts start becoming a bit more challenging bigoted as some say is when I feel myself letting my human sinful spirit block out the PEace that only comes from GOD.

When there is no right or wrong then there is no struggle you can be a jerk you can be nice you can be selfish you can be kind you can be a liar or you can tell the truth, because your life and destiny is up to you, but when you have a purpose beyond a human exsistence you do find struggle you do find right and wrong
and you do find Perfection is not attainable but forgiveness is and that is the humility that atheists do not understand
Isn't it?

*Some* Protestants slide into error when stating that salvation is by faith alone while believing that good works play no role in the Christian life.

Is the “fruit” of this “pit” licentiousness, lack of repentance, and false assurance?

*Some* Catholics slide into error when stating that salvation is by faith and works while believing that good works earn and/or merit justification with God.

Is the “fruit” of this “pit” legalism, condemnation, and complete lack of assurance?
-

Are the true “wheat” united in the truth that salvation is by grace through faith that leads to a Spirit-led life abounding and overflowing in the fruit of the Holy Spirit (namely: love), who works in and through us to do His will and pleasure, even the good works prepared beforehand for us to do for His glory?

And by living and walking in such truth by the power of the Holy Spirit, don’t we avoid licentiousness AND legalism, lack of repentance AND condemnation, false assurance AND lack of assurance?
