God wants us to have sex; he wants us to have a relationship with the person though. If it wasn't that strong we could not prove our love to God by withholding for the person God intended us to be with. Not to mention we would not multiply because no one would want to have sex.

some vegetables taste good, but we never would have eaten them if our parents hadn't told us to... you've never had a problem getting a kid to eat candy tho, have you?
I don't think you can "get" sex drive. If you are alive, someone had sex drive and already gave it to you. To me, it speaks more on the side of intelligent design. The tall list of things that had to occur all at once for evolution to have even started just keeps growing and growing.
We have to sit our children down and explain procreation to them, yet somehow a compatible female and male of the same species evolved, knew how to continue their species, and managed to do so, all within the relatively short window of fertility. Some how there was always a fertile male and female existing at the same time in close enough proximity. The resulting offspring would either also have to be sexually compatible, or else it's a race to reach fertility before the compatible parent loses theirs... one misstep in the early stages, and the world as we know it would never have existed.
And evolution is supposed to make so much sense compared to the idea of intelligent design...

I happen to believe in evolution, but i have virtually no sex drive. I still have children, so clearly a strong sex drive is not necessary for a human to reproduce. Therefore, natural selection has not weeded me, with my non-existent sex drive, out of the gene pool, and it doesn't follow that a strong sex drive entails that evolution is correct.

To be fruitful and multiply. Also, it is like a "wedding" present from GOD.

why do people who only want a laugh try to obtain in this forum, is it because the fact that there is no god is so obvious that you do not risk offense to those who matter?
