Today someone was telling me the steps I needed to take to get into heaven and I simply replied "But but...I Doooooont waaaant tooo" in a realy whiny voice.
It actually worked well as the person just looked at me and said "Oh forget it" and walked off.
Have you ever tried this out?

I guess I need to add that I have heard this speech 100 times, 12 from the person speaking to me.

Does it work for atheists, too, who want to "deprogram" you, to use their words?

As Christians we are only suppose to tell you about Jesus and how to get into Heaven. If you don't want to and I have told you before then I would walk away from you too.

I guess if the person responds in an argumentative manner, that means they're at least taking it seriously, but if they respond in a facetious manner, it indicates that the whole thing is a joke to them.

I think it would be better if you told the person exactly why not, so you can have a civilized discussion.
