If you can conceive the notion that creation is real,,,, okay but what about the condition where things simply are and have been always without any begining and within reason any end(life being the notable exception).

If there was nothing then there is nothing if there was something then there is something.

When existence is posited this way sequence becomes almost meaningless. Ok there is a beginning to living beings denoting therefore that at some point an origin was made to happen, likewise as life departs they cease to exist---this allows sequence.

When it comes to "Inanimate" objects (without souls) such as matter itself--- sequencing can be relegated to its transformation from one form to another but in order for it to transform it has to be pre-existing, that substance, although derived from some other substance, still existed beforehand thus making the transformation possible.

So in this vein water was not created but merely existed ! Some early religions considered rain to be divine----so which can we infer then that God is infinite and made water ? or water is infinite and therefore by definition is God ?

No one, since "who" usually denotes a person, or guiding intelligence at the least.

But to answer, I would say that an ice-comet crashed into the Earth some time during the distant past, creating water. Or, perhaps water was created on Earth. I'm not a geologist nor pre-historic history buff, so I cannot answer this satisfactory. However, I CAN say that I can come up with something better than a deity saying, "Let there be" and poof...there it is.

Why did someone need to create it?

The chemical and physical laws of the universe says that 2*H2O has a lower energy state than 2*H2 + O2

So water stays water rather than becoming hydrogen and oxygen molecules.

Nobody. Water is created by the combination of 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen molecules.

These questions pander to our scientifically-minded atheist friends. You have lobbed a softball to Hank Aaron (water is comprised of chemicals fused together, in this case Hydrogen and Oxygen. Under the right circumstances [this planet's position/chemical makeup], water occurs).

There is no 'creation' in the atheists' minds.

If you don't know how to read, the history of the universe and the planets, including the formation and development of our own planet, is currently making the rounds on History Channel and Discovery Channel. The programs are "Planet Earth" and "The Universe".

Do yourself a real favor and become educated...about the real physical world and how things came to be - and how things work.

It needs no creator. When hydrogen oxidizes, water is the result. It is that simple. We do not need some imaginary gods standing around making water, etc. What happens when they become tired or bored or a sexy dryad walks by?

No one created water. It is just two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Both are very common in the Universe.

The Gods Hydrogen & Oxygen created water when they combined with each other...kneel before them and praise them immediately.
