Iraqi christians are suffering in iraq (im one of them) i do not know why the media put blind eye on the suffering. Before the war there was 3 million iraqi christians in iraq... after the war there is only 700,000 iraqi christians...some of them ran away to other countries (like me) and others died because they are christians....muslims are focring us to convert to islam, getkilled, or pay (al jzya) which is islamic law that forces non-muslims to play tax, ...so i decided to leave iraq because there is no way that im converting to islam im CHRSITian and proud...it is sad to leave iraq because christain iraqi including chaldeans and assyrians are native iraqis...its our home

It seems that there are a lot of people here who seem to say things which they wouldnt say in reality. I mean as a buddhist i dont say anything offensive to anyone face to face or hiding behind a computer. The muslims in Sudan took things too far when they jailed this lady for naming a teddy bear mohammed. However, great news today that she is being released. Now this early release was in part done by 2 muslim MPs who went over there and talked to the president. Does this not show - that there are two kinds of people - extremists and non-extremists? why did the people in sudan take offense while muslims around the world didnt? has anyone mentioned these two MPs and even thanked them? I for one am grateful that they helped out and showed us that there are EVEN good muslims in this world which is always hidden from us. And that not all 1.7 billion muslims are not bad. Every religion, every colour has bad people - we cannot paint an entire people by the same assumption.

In a couple of weeks in my home town we are holding a christmas party for the disabled people, children and adults from the town and the towns surrounding the area. Everybody in these towns knows of the party and they always to their best to help organise and contribute. This has happened every year for the past six years.

And every year I have gone around the shops in the towns and asked for donations for the raffel. Every shop has always give me something - even charity shops like Oxfam.

Recently in one of the towns a christian bookshop was opened. I went in last week and explained about the party and the raffle and how everybody contributes. And they downright refused to give me anything! Even after I showed them proof that I wasn't trying to take anything for myself.

I thought christians were supposed to care for other people? Was I really so wrong?

I know this isn't a question. I just wanted a rant because I just couldn't believe it!!

During your journey from your previous religious beliefs to your current ones, did any other human assist your transition?

How did they help you?

Did anyone actively attempt to prevent your "conversion"?

When they ask, "Can I talk to you about God?" Reply, "Sure, what would you like to know?"

Answer the door with a bloody knife and say, "I'm sorry, could you come back in a half hour? We're not done with the virgin yet."

Answer the door with an automatic weapon and say 'Allah be Praised!

Ask them for their address. When they ask why you want it, claim that you want to appear on their doorstop univited so that you can peddle your own beliefs.

Look smug and tell them that your God can beat up their God.

Tell them you already have your own religion. When they ask what it is, wince a little before confessing, "er, I'm not sure if it's legal in this country

A chalk outline of a human body on the pavement, and a few copies of "The Watchtower" scattered around...

Answer every one of their questions with "What do you mean by that?" This might take a while, but you and your loved ones can have fun placing bets on how long it takes for them to leave.

Ask them to explain the story of Elisha and the Forty-two children.

Invite them in to see your fine collection of dinosaur fossils.

... Humans are the ones who feel the need to have been created so that they feel special? I mean it's not like it would have been difficult for an all powerful God to create the universe, so why does he feel the need to be praised for it?

That's what it seems like to me.

We all will evently become nothing, forgotten, everything we know will eventually pass. So what is the point of it all? Why do you keep moving toward your death? Why?
Your family, friends, pets, all of that will come to pass. We will be no more. So why do you keep moving?

And is there a point to life?

When in the end we all will become worm food?

Judas, it is mentioned, was Christ's BEST disciple.
Christ hismself chose Judas as a disciple.

Now if Judas actually betrayed Christ, then Christ's choice of BEST disciple was awfully wrong. And if Christ made wrong decisions, how can he be GOD?

Some will conveniently blame the devil for this. In such a case, Christ was too weak or unintelligent to protect his BEST disciple. How can he be GOD?

I will give you the answer to this - but first let me hear it from you (You who pretend to be so religious and put on a fastidious act, without understanding the true basis of your religion at all)
