We all will evently become nothing, forgotten, everything we know will eventually pass. So what is the point of it all? Why do you keep moving toward your death? Why?
Your family, friends, pets, all of that will come to pass. We will be no more. So why do you keep moving?

And is there a point to life?

When in the end we all will become worm food?

Nope. No point. So do what you want with the life you have. I'm going to eat an ice-cream filled taco fried and soaked in beer.

Well it's either die now or die later. And I quite like life. So that's why I carry on living.

Death can't be that bad. When we die we will return to the state in which we were in a thousand years ago, - non-existent - and I don't remember that as being bad. Besides something that happens to every livng thing, plant, or animal is not something we should fear.

As to a point of life. There is none. We are just micro-organisms struggling to surive in a world that is not ours. Like all creatures on the Earth. But unlike other creatures we humans have the ability to make up reasons for existence and afterlife which makes the whole life-death process a little easier.

Your life is what you make of it. You decide what the point is. Live now, in this moment. Treasure the things you have, like family and friends.

Even the act of becoming worm food serves a purpose. You reenter the ecosystem and your molecules will become part of worms, trees, all kinds of stuff.

I knew when my trip to Disney would end, but I took a spin on every ride (some twice), I sampled all the food, watched every parade, had my picture taken with every character that crossed my path and even hugged Micky. As I packed my bags to go home did I ask myself what's the point? NO WAY!! I had a fabulous time! No regrets.

Life's a much better ride than anything at Disney.

The actual meaning of life is to reproduce; it's the only reason why we're here. Some creatures like the male black widow spider are killed right after mating, but they do it anyway because that's their purpose. Everything else is just speculation.

We are mortal just like all living creatures, and we are here but for a short time. Living in the now is the point, when you dwell on your own mortality, you miss the gift that life is.

My view on this is:

The meaning of life is to
Live
Laugh
Love.

All those experiences are well worth tribulations and obstacles and shouldn't be taken for granted.
I often ponder why our existence is what it is and wonder what we are here for but those 3 L's are so important to life and should be experienced to the max.
There is no better way i think for me, than to die knowing that i have
Lived well
Loved much and
Laughed as often as i could!

To answer your question, you have to honestly answer these basic life questions:

1. Where did I come from?

2. What am I living for?

3. Where am I going?

If you have no answers to these questions, then life is pointless.

What you spout is called Nihilism. Yes we will all die; all men do. Famous saying says all men die, not all men truly live. If you spend your whole life looking for reasons you will find yourself wishing you'd done more living and less questioning.
Happy hunting.
