a young woman I lived with approx. 1989-1994. She had 2 daughters, J & R. The mom, M, will not allow contact now. The courts are not involved yet, and attorneys I contact tell me that if I exersize my parental right and get the courts to mandate visits the court will also mandate a child support fine, so large that it is in my best interest to not try and see these kids. i disagree. so does my religion. I am searching an attorney and asking for ways to repair, reconcile, or at least get a definate Y or N in the childrens best interest.

They hold all life sacred, and vow not to destroy it. What do they do if they get infested with mice, rats, roaches, etc?

What if they had a parasite living inside them? Would they take medicine to kill it?

My basis of non-belief is as simple as this...

santa claus uses "magic" to reach all the boys and girls in one night.

Peter pan uses "magic" pixie dust to fly back and forth to neverland(somewhere in space)..

superman uses "superpowers" (equal to magic) to fly, and lift hundreds of tons...

Yoda uses "the force" (also equal to magic) to levetate objects with his mind(telekenesis)

and all of these things are "fiction"

God uses "miracles" to do great things(also equal to magic)

does anyone else see the obvious place the being noted above belongs?

real scientists tend to look for evidence to support their theories.

creation scientists tend to look for gaps in opposing theories such as evolution and the big bang theory to give credit to their theories.

"No-one can argue about the authenticity of the bible, it's clearly proof of god's existence. There's NO denying it. And they say that WE'RE illogical. It just makes me sick to see people disgracing Jesus Christ and deliberately choosing hell. I KNOW I'm going to heaven because I accepted Jesus Christ as my saviour. We all have free will and I CHOSE to love Jesus, in return he is giving me eternal happiness. Atheists say "How can the bible be proof?". Well, on page one of the holy book itself it says God created everything. God hates you if you reject him, because we all KNOW the truth, it's up to you to choose to be ignorant of God's existence or to be saved like me. It's fine by me, you all deserve hell by rejecting himself, and I couldn't be more happier."

It's people who say things like this who honestly make me nervous when I see shady people in trench coats. Is this not proof that no single religion is more of a dilluted disaster than any other? It's verbal suicide bombing

Imacatholic I know, of course. But the other nine must be answering questions that don't interest me, because I've never heard of them.

BTW, I was looking to see if I'd made the grade yet. I'm still counting on it.

That strikes me as a very sad and pathetic way to pass one's time. It must be a truly miserable existence, being such a hate-filled person...

(Yes, I kill time trolling here. But I ask mostly silly questions, and almost never go out of my way to put people down. So how about you holier-than-thou people save your lectures and gotchas for another day.)

Even giving pseudo scientific evolutionists the benefit of the doubt on the existence of the material, is 4.6 billion years really enough to see the world we have develop on its own through natural selection.

Do you really understand the size of the numbers it takes to calculate the probablility of this?

If you take an OJECTIVE look at the mathematical probabilities, then you see the absurdity of the Evolutionary argument.

If I ever had my doubts about Genesis, the Math killed them.

Why should homosexuals not be allowed to serve in the military? Is it a religion thing? And if so, why should religious beliefs dictate what happens in the military?

Having served myself (and continuing to serve), I haven't minded serving besides homosexuals, and feel that it takes a very special kind of person to serve in the military. Too few today are willing to sacrifice their time, sweat, and blood for their country. I feel that if you're willing to serve your country, it shouldn't matter what your sexual orientation is.

I find it difficult to understand why ppl would want to exclude anyone who is willing to serve, especially on the grounds of religious beliefs (as not all of us are of the same religion).

**In the past, it has been said that both African Americans and women shouldn't serve in the military becuase they would disrupt unit cohesion and cause difficulties. As this was proven wrong, this isn't a valid excuse to exclude homosexuals.

well if i'm not a broken car, should i stay out of the auto repair forum?

also, to the christians, why do you think people of religions other than christianity don't ask why atheists are in R&S?

Moses defined justice as "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth," and in the case of murder, "a life for a life." Some Christian groups reject capital punishment, although there is evidence that Jesus approved it by approving the words of the crucified criminal (Luke 23:41): "We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong."

Suppose a murderer has been given a life sentence without parole for murder, but while serving this sentence, murders a prison guard. Without capital punishment, don't all additional murders go unpunished?

Wierd statistic: 40+ percent of the American population goes to Church. Less than 5% are Biologists.

It could be interpreted that Christians are just not scientific, or maybe not as educated.

But could there be another underlying reason for this? Could it be that the Institutions hold to a pre-determined belief, and that they automatically discriminate and try to weed out those who do not share the same view?

The question is irrelevant, but it was: Why do Muslims hold Muhammed in such high regard?

I chose a best answer that was not from a muslim. So it would appear that muslims want to erase anything that is contradictory to their religion, right? I can only assume that since it was deleted even after I chose an answer.

So is the only fair thing to do to go and report any and all favorable muslim questions???? Fight fire with fire?

I don't think so, it's generally not my nature. But would like to get your opinion on why this happens.

Hell is the grave and the fire comes down from heaven!!

hey didn't know that did you?
