Jesus gave his life....took it willingly
by definition he committed suicide......
is he in hell?
Suicide ends your life but your eternity was settled at Calvary and if you accept Jesus you will go to heaven and if not you will go to hell.

Yes. Committing suicide is pre-meditated murder.
God has a plan for you to carry through. Suicide is interrupting
his plan.
Even though it is NOT the unforgiveable sin...you will
miss out on all the wonderful plans he has for you.
Open your heart and mind...and seek him.
He is always there 24/7! We are the ones who turn away from him.... He will never leave you, nor forsake you.
Trust in him...and chin up!

"Whether we live or die, we belong to God." "We are not our own but have been bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus."
This is what the bible says.
"Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. If any man defiles this temple, him will God destroy."
This is also what the bible says.
"Thou shalt not commit murder."
**If we are not our own..but belong to God..then it is not in our right to destroy ourselves. Wouldn't that been seen as murder in the eyes of a Holy God? Or at least some sort of sin...yes, i believe suicide is a sin. It at the very least defiles the temple of God.

Actually it depends on the circumstances, if the person feels that there is truly no other way, then they will be forgiven of the sin, however if they are doing it to hurt someone else because they know the person would be sad of their death, or they kill themselves because they just killed someone else...normally that is a sin that isn't forgiven.

I've never read the bible, but if you think about life and how precious it is, then you would see that taking it, even your own is the worst crime to commit. You are commiting murder, just on yourself, which is almost even worse if you think about it. Because you are voluntarily taking your own life.

A large portion of those who commit suicide are seriously mental ill. Unless you are willing to research the mental and physiological states of these individuals I wouldn't judge something you could never begin to understand.

No, bible is just a book. Suicide is just that. the ending of your life. Not good or bad, sometimes necessary.
