For heathens especially, this is a major holiday time and we get to celebrate 12 days and nights. We honor the gods, the goddesses, the wights, our ancestors, and our kith and kin.

Pagans also celebrate the Solstice, Saturnalia, and other names for the holiday.

The tree, the Yule log, the decorations, lights, exchange of gifts, mistletoe - all pagan/heathen

Nothing really. I honor Jesus everyday, so I'm always REALLY glad when Christmas is over. A better question would've been what do you dislike MOST about it? I would have to say the way people commercialize it and the appearance of "goodness" that some people put on during this time of year

The most important thing about Christmas is being with my family. If I wasn't spending time with my family on Christmas, it'd just be another day. It's special to me as a formerly religious holiday I can celebrate without being religious. We need to abandon old thoughts of arcane spirituality and look to what we have now. Do you see Mexicans sacrificing people on the full moon because it's what you do on the full moon?

It's just a store holiday. Has nothing to do with the birth of Jesus. Even the last Pope admitted that.
Consider the shepherds still in the fields with sheep feeding on grass when the Angels made their appearance.

The birth of the Savior and the Christmas story... it never gets old.

The birth of Christ.

God coming among us - all of the promise of God's plan was wrapped up in that baby.

Easter is much more important.................but the significance of the birth of Christ is hard to calculate for us.
