"No-one can argue about the authenticity of the bible, it's clearly proof of god's existence. There's NO denying it. And they say that WE'RE illogical. It just makes me sick to see people disgracing Jesus Christ and deliberately choosing hell. I KNOW I'm going to heaven because I accepted Jesus Christ as my saviour. We all have free will and I CHOSE to love Jesus, in return he is giving me eternal happiness. Atheists say "How can the bible be proof?". Well, on page one of the holy book itself it says God created everything. God hates you if you reject him, because we all KNOW the truth, it's up to you to choose to be ignorant of God's existence or to be saved like me. It's fine by me, you all deserve hell by rejecting himself, and I couldn't be more happier."

It's people who say things like this who honestly make me nervous when I see shady people in trench coats. Is this not proof that no single religion is more of a dilluted disaster than any other? It's verbal suicide bombing

Actually I did know exactly what Sinn Fein is there Hoss. But fact of the matter is I don't use it in a literal or religious way, it's a symbolic thing that I will now fail to explain because that's got nothing to do with the question at hand... brother

nope, he's just a troll. there is almost no way that someone like that could have such impressive grammar and spelling. normally people who believe what this question said can't spell to save their lives.

i'm not trying to be mean, that's just what i've observed over time

'No-one can argue about the authenticity of the Bible.' Can't they? I think I lost something in the assertion that it is 'clearly proof of God's existence'. Evidence of God, perhaps (I think many would concede that, even if they find the evidence unconvincing), but PROOF? Not to me it isn't.

I AM denying it, whatever they say.

'On page 1 it says God created everything'. Fine. So that settles it, does it? I think I'll write a book and on the first page write 'Everything in this book is True'. No need for any more evidence after that - should be a best seller! (Hurrah for me!)

Actually the last time I looked in the Bible I remember seeing something to the effect that God loves all people, not hates them.

When I see 'shady people in trench coats', it isn't the people who say the Bible is authentic that worry me, it's the shady people in trench coats. And what's wrong with a trench coat, anyway?

Lighten up, folks!

I totally disagree with the quoted statement you presented, and I AM a Christian (Catholic in fact). And I don't feel that you can make a judgment on all, or any single religion ,based on the rantings of a single person full of false pride.
By the way did you know Sinn Fein is the political arm of the Irish Republican Army, A CATHOLIC group!
Peace Brother!

Yes...the existance of a holy book of itself is not proof its God or gods existed. Each religion has one.

It is the historicity, accuracy, truthfulness when touching on science, etc. and fulfilled prophecy. That is why the Bible tells people to "prove all things". 1 Thess. 5:21 and to try all the religions claiming to be of God. 1 John 4:1

Not even the Bible encourages such a blind faith. You'd be surprised how many times the Bible uses terms like reason, reasoning, truth, examine, test out, knowledge, accurate knowledge, etc.

One reason people are so easy to lead astray is they don't want to examine, reason, etc. They just want to have a form of godly devotion. 2 Timothy 3:5, 7.

So one persons statement is all that you need to say
"Is this not proof that no single religion is more of a dilluted disaster than any other?"
No that is not proof of anything other then your own judgmental attitude towards all faiths and beliefs and bias against them.

By the way...how do we know if this was not either written by you or edited by you to show Christians in a more negitive light?

No one chose that one person to represent all faiths or beliefs any more then I am sure anyone chose you to represent all atheists. (Thank God!)

yeah, they're pretty much delusional. I also love the way they have to justify themselves, by this question alone you can tell that this person is afraid and unsure. why else would they feel the need to lash out at others? If they're so sure why do they care at all. One last thing, the "proof" is on the first page of a fictional book...that is not proof. I am god. there, in the sixth line of this answer there is proof that I am god.

Not so much people in trench coats as people wearing crosses. THOSE people frighten me. It's like walking up to Jackie O'Nassis with a rifle pendant on.

anyone that makes an opinion to look like a statement and then spends time justifying thier own opinion/statement has problems.

they obviously don't have much faith in their own convictions and ranting about it makes them feel better.

its like old saying God is good, bananas are good, so therefore God must be bananas.

Wow...that is a little creepy. I'm a Christian, and I don't agree with whatever kind of creep wrote this....Totally wrong for more than one reason. The thing that really gets me is the, "It's fine be me, you all deserve hell by rejecting himself, and I couldn't be more happier."
Hooo....Creepy.....
