That strikes me as a very sad and pathetic way to pass one's time. It must be a truly miserable existence, being such a hate-filled person...

(Yes, I kill time trolling here. But I ask mostly silly questions, and almost never go out of my way to put people down. So how about you holier-than-thou people save your lectures and gotchas for another day.)

I feel sorry for them, but at the same time am rather annoyed by them because even when they are told they hold a misconception, they are either so filled with hate or so insecure that they refuse to learn the facts. People like that are beyond pathetic.

I think many people here on R & S feel empowered when they can mock another person's belief or non belief. I don't feel sorry for them, but I do wonder what in the world motivates them. I am a Protestant. I respect other religions of the world... Lord only knows it would be sad if we all thought the same way. There are those who do not believe in any organized religion. Nothing wrong with that. Maybe they worship nature, Cool with that. But to intentionally belittle someone because of his choice of a lifestyle and / or religion or atheitism.... that's just the height of insensitivity and childishness.

I don't think that anyone should bash a follower of any faith. Religion is a way to live your life. The only thing that I have against religion is the leaders themselves. They make the rules to control. They are the sorry sort that just don't get the message. Catholic leaders are certainly not the worst of the bunch, it is just that they have the biggest amount of people.

I was raised Catholic, its nothing new and its worse in the real world too. My family is still Catholic though I no longer practice.
Such immaturity and closed mindedness. I can't imagine sitting in church with that much hate in me and thinking God wants that.

I hear you. People who find joy bashing other people and their beliefs are pathetic. What kind of life is that to live? Sad, sad, sad.

Eh, it gives them an activity.

I like theology debates. It's like watching Miami Vice fans debate what each show *really* meant.

Catholics are easy targets since they claim to be the only real Christians, but they worship Mary instead of Jesus.

"They worship Mary instead of God" ????

Oooookay. One more to add to the list of folks to pray for.

Yeesh. Talk about proving your point, dear funny-walking chosen one. Thanks, by the way. I agree with you.
