i never look down at anyone even the ones that cant walk, talk,poor, the non muslims... bcoz i know Allah tala says"be kind 2averyone"... who am i 2 look down at people??? even whan someone does bad 2me! i leave it 2 Allah tala... so why do non muslims look down as muslims??? whan they dont even try 2find out abt islam...

it's even worse in muslim countries , as muslims there look down to non muslims and look down to even other muslims with different views than the majority.

I do not look down on Muslims. I can't help thinking we been seperated and we all have this deeply burried knowledge hidden within every one's different religions that will solve all our problems. If only we could rise above ALL the disagreements. Some guy I think his name is tk1 wrote using prayer instead of war and I was like yaaa tk for presi. :-) Seriously, though if only we would try to take more peaceful approaches to things.....aah well...just me dreaming for a better world.
Taboo_Re - I am glad you can see there is prejuidism on all sides. But try not to look down on anyone. You know we are all travelers just on different levels of the same path. Hopefully we all make it to where we need to be.......

Isha'Allah, if one reads the history of Western civilization and its culture, one will find that such teaches the majority to fear any and every minority as well as teachging that power, and power alone makes right.
When these two are added together the resut is fear and fear leads to hatred by the ignorant.
A better question might be what will happen when Islam is the majority religion in the Western world as it is presently the fastest growing religion there as it is throughout the world?
It is interesting to note how many persons say "Islam invaded America on September 11" yet they forget that they have invaded Islamic lands and have killed several times over the number of person who were killed and harmed on that fateful day.
They also fail to note that their own government says that those who carried out the attack were from Saudi Arabia, however, we still call them our allies, have never called them to account for the deeds of their citizens, nor did we invade them.
It is easy for persons to accept the propaganda of thier government if they freely choose to be blind and deaf to the truth and the reality of events, especailly when one has but to open a newspaper to see how their own government has lied to them repeatedly in regards to the same.

Most who look down on any other religion are those who are not versed or studied in such religion. And they base their choices and thoughts on the misguidance of others and what they speak.
Plus the media, at least in the USA, does not paint the Muslim world as a nice one. Sad that people believe a "boob tube" over people posting the truth from such countries on YOU tube. The wording of each should give a clue.
Doesn't matter if your are Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Chinese, Native Indian... there is one simple item everyone seems to forget.
We all breath the same air... do we not?

well its just because we muslims have made ourselves like that.v lack unity and our selfmade prejudices have made us enemy of our own muslim brothers and sisters and in this way v r providing non-muslims a chance to ridicule us.non-muslims have only one agenda i.e. to destroy muslims and they are doing it in any way.they have showed their life to us with an addition of glamour and v r following it without thinking.
in my opinion v have done this to ourselves, no one else is guilty for that.

listen muslims invaded the united states 9-11 remember... alot of people arent going to forget that..... its not that everyone hates muslims its what happened here ....look at all the suicide bombings happening in other countrys... do you think people are just gonna say oh we love them... no there not and not everyone is the same.. and my mom cant walk and she wouldnt care less if anyone looked down upon her..... cause shes gonna do what shes gotta do regarless.. i dont look down upon people i wasnt raised like that but hey not everyone is the same..... and none of us can forget when happened so your gonna have too just live with that and understand how people feel.........

partially just bigotry, partially it has to do with some muslims not being as nice as you... remember a certain Osama Bin Laden? Of course that's no excuse to treat all muslims poorly, but it has been a reason I'm afraid...
