My aunt is a JW and is currently in the hospital. My mom just called me and told me that her red cells are dropping and if she doesnt take a blood transfusion that she will die within 3 weeks. I know there is a blood substitute of sorts that they can use, however she is on Medicad and Im not sure they cover it. Either way, I would love to get some information about this alternative as she doesnt have much time left. Thanks!

I have done research on Islam. Muslims believe every word of the Koran is the sacred word of their God.
How can it be 'the religion of peace' with instruction like this in the Koran?

Note the word "virgin" as compared with "young woman". And yes I know that a young woman is considered a virgin, but does everybody else know that?

Ok, I want to know some hardcore facts people! Give me what you got and tell me some biblical scriptures where it CLEARLY states that sex before marriage is wrong. I don't mean the scriptures where you have to unscramble everything in it, I mean the ones where God himself clearly states that sex before marriage is wrong. I am a christian, but I just want to read where in the bible it says that because people claim it's in there but no one gives the scriptures. Thanks people.

Please Read this CAREFULLY and think about your answer don't just give me the same schtick about "people put themselves in hell" cause I've already heard that one and it doesn't apply for the exact reason that I ask this question.

If God can do anything, and God makes the rules for the universe, and God is supposedly the embodiment of Love, then why would He chose to make a rule that would allow anyone to be tortured in Hell for Eternity when He could have just made them no longer exist? Isn't non-existence more loving than Hell? Does a loving God make rules that will land people he loves in Hell? It's a contradiction since this supposedly 'loving' god knew from the get go that making that rule would have people tortured in Hell.

Now I know that there are those who believe Hell is nonexistence but that's not what the Bible says at all, so believing that Hell is anything other than a place of fire and torment is fringe liberal Christianity and intellectually dishonest.

One looked down other whom has different religion. It made one person seeing another person who is not in the same religion so evil, wicked, faulse God believer and so on.

Without reallizing, this is the main reason mankind are separated. Without religions everyone would be equally beautiful person and most likely being more friendly to other.

You Christians believe so firmly that God exists and you also believe that when you die you will be in God's presence.

Even if you die you would have died believing in God therefore you will ascend to heaven when Jesus comes for the second time.

In that case I assume you Christians wouldn't be afraid of dying?

If a car came astray right upon you with maximum speed with you knowing that you will die once crashed, what would you think and feel?

Is this it? "Oh look a car is coming to crash the crap out of me. Ok so I am dying and look I don't care HaHa. I am so happy to die LaLa come crash me already."

Ok that was cracks.

Anyway, the question is whether you fear death or not.

No matter how much faith you got the fact is that life after death is an uncertainty for all humanity.

You might cease to exist after you die. Who knows?

So are you afraid?

I just saw a documentary in HBO about two mothers talking about their daughters in Israel; one Israli and one Palestinian. Both young beautiful girls that could have passed for sisters. Palestinian girl was the suicide bomber and the Israli was the innocent bystander. Two beautiful girls with aboundance of possibilities and unfortunatly many other innocent victims. It broke my heart; I feel the pain literally. When I tried suicide three times was because I couldn't bare the pain of the world, I was to weak to carry my cross like Jesus. I wanted out because my world was not perfect and I had strayed away from what I was taught and had lost my faith. My suicide attempts were only to kill myself and harm no one else; but still I knew it was wrong because I be hurting the one's I LOVE & Jesus. No matter what, I sinned.
