I'm a "what I know to be right for me" kind of guy through and through. My skepticism even extends to my own thinking.

Ultimately, we dont have that power to decide what is right and wrong. We can try to make laws that reflect it, but we didnt come up with the right/wrong code. If God says something is wrong, and a person says it is right, the person is wrong. And rules arent just there to be there. Like sex before marriage. I always thought that was just some outdated, overconservative rule. I had sex with someone i thought i was gonna marry, and i thought it was right for me and her and she thought it to be right. It has been three months since we've broken up. I gave up a part of myself I can never take back. Rules were meant to guide and protect us. I see this a little more clearly now I have learned some lessons the hard way.
So my answer to you it is more important to what God says is right for me than what I feel is right for myself at the moment.

What I know to be right for me.......but it usually coincides with my Christian beliefs....not necessarily what I've been taught by others. I've come to realize that I disagree with some teachings from childhood, and I've sought answers for myself. I believe others can be invaluable to my growth, but I have heard many people, from many different walks of life and beliefs, misinterpret everything from scripture to science theory.......I believe we should all be growing and discovering certain things for ourselves

I'd have to say what I know to be right for me. Shoot who knows me better than myself. Also, I have a tendency to do the exact opposite when someone tells me what I should do.

That depends. If you know brushing your teeth with rusty razorblades is right for you, regardless of what others tell you, you are going to be in a great deal of pain.

I'm not sure i get what you're saying. If you're saying whether it's better to choose what's right than choose what others think is right, then i have to say that you have to believe what you think is right. Did i answer your question?

I know that my worship of the Greek Gods is right for me. That is what is important to me in the RELIGIOUS sense. What is right for me in the health sense is something that I do DISCUSS with others....

Your only obligation in any lifetime is to be true to yourself. Being true to anyone else or anything else is not only impossible, but the mark of a false messiah.

What I know that is right for me is more times not what I want to do. I don't need anyone to tell me what they think. I do not depend on man to direct my life. I depend on Jesus and he has never lead me astray.

It is more important that I know what is right for me.
