It is that we are a triune being. We are created in Gods image in that we are spirit soul and body.
Edit: yes he does, He is seen ithe Bible as the Father, The Son, and th Holy Spirit. Just because we cannot diverge into the three seperate parts does not mean God can't. If we were, would our body be any less than our soul, or our spirit any less than our body? No they would all be the same person.

Creationism.. is the image.
Such as imagination... When you imagine something.. you see what an image is... The image of God is creation. ANYTHING that has life within it.. is creation.
Teaching ... has life within it too!
Creation it's self IS the image of God. To see with your mind is an image.. the Image of God.
Our abilities as humans have the right of "communication".. this is what makes us superior to all other life. More importantly because WE are created in "likeness" we bear the "image" of God.
The only way that you can truly see this is through the Laws of God.. the Laws of Love.
We create BECAUSE we love, whether it's to give life, or help life...
I have more teachings here about what I am doing with my faith.

The image of God refers to the immaterial part of man. It sets man apart from the animal world, fits him for the “dominion” God intended (Genesis 1:28), and enables him to commune with his Maker. It is a likeness mentally, morally, and socially.

We were made in the image of God. God has two arms, two legs, a forehead with two eyes, a nose, a mouth, feet with toes, hands with fingers and so forth. He has a body just as tangible as ours. He looks like a human.

Wow.
To the people at the top:
I doubt that, of all things, the ability to THINK AND REASON is God-given, because it seems that the only people able to think reasonably about the existence of an invisible sky god are atheists.
Or that "morality" is a gift from god, taking in light the millions of innocents who have been killed by tyrannical religious hysterics.

The freewill, the conscience.
For your question regarding Adam. Both Adam and Eve were told what was the right thing to do, which was, as simple as it was, just not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Both had freewill and both partook in the fruits of the tree.

I think your avatar has got it right; a cover up for human beings...a creation of something appealing, but fake.
