The brand "Vivonex" Total Enteral Nutrition is definetly kosher. Which brand are you asking about?
Ask for the brand name the hospital or doctor uses and you can call the company and find out.
Talk to your rabbi if you are concerned. This is a lifesaving way of getting nutrition to a person who cannot swallow food. I

In theory, it can be formulated as such. The most common lipid sources are soybean oil and egg yolk. The amino acid source needs to be determined, but dairy sources should be available. You may need to ask for a pharmacy, nutrition, and/or pastoral care consultations to ensure all kosher formulations.

yes it is because the kids dont no what kosher is, it is sin until you know what it is, or you comprohemnd the cultural thing such as kosher
