...Is that because I'm agnostic and just biased towards the atheist's/agnostic's way of thinking?...
...Or am I agnostic because of the way I feel about both groups' questions?
What about you?

hae: It's human nature to want to be atheist? To believe that there's probably just nothing after you die? To believe that all your friends and loved ones are just gone forever? I disagree. I think it's human nature to want to believe in something bigger than ourselves.

nebtet: You may be right...I just can't seem to wrap my brain around the idea that theists' arguments are reasonable. I haven't come across one yet. If I did, I think I might reconsider my religious stance. But I haven't, so I don't.

Perhaps the reason you find theist questions and answers unreasonable is because you have noticed that theists tend to use circular logic. For example: God is true because the Bible is true 'Bible=God=Bible'. And because they use straw man arguments. And, also, they embrace ultimates that ultimately have no proof behind why they must be ultimates.
So, I can see why you would view theist asked or answered questions to be unreasonable.
Being Agnostic doesn't make you bias.Being Agnostic makes you more reasonable to see unreasonable views, opinions, and narratives.

I am also agnostic, I find both sides of the argument interesting - and often funny.
Atheism or Theism are both view points that are somewhat narrow minded and in alot of ways are quite similar.
However atheists have made their choice based on logic and reasoning, while the theists tend to have been indoctrinated.
That is probably why we tend to like them more...

i like to imagine that agnostics are rather humble and self honest folks because their spirituality is based in honestly admitting not knowing all the mysteries of the universe.
that being said ... you're bias. the theists ARE being reasonable from their point of view. they do try to explain their stance and some are even polite about it.
i make this assumption because you asked and because i'm an agnostic with the same bias.

One could circulate by potential of their direct journey. This, for many folk of folk, is produced from waking, dreaming and deep sleep awareness. There are some people that have mystical wide awake and for this reason diverse reviews than maximum folk of people. those people that have mystical journey many times tend to have self assurance in some type of "god" yet i'm utilising the term god very loosely right here. Mysticism, opposite to particular religions, is familiar between people and has been scientifically studied utilising innovations scans and biometric parameters and is a real phenomena between people. So if I have been to have self assurance in something that I even have not rapidly experienced, i might have self assurance in something like mysticism that has a physiological foundation and has been experienced and checklist by potential of all forms of people the two non secular and non non secular. On appropriate of this, mystic states could be completed if a self-discipline like yoga or meditation is diligently practiced. So one is informed by potential of mysticism that one would not could have self assurance yet in basic terms to notice oneself, then they'll comprehend for themselves what's genuine or not. faith on the different hand tells the human to believe them and in basic terms have self assurance.

I find that most people, in general, are unreasonable. That is, they do not use reason. The mindless doublespeak employed by many folk here is about as unreasonable as it gets.
For me, I would have to say that I am agnostic (I guess you could call it that) because of the way I feel about the various theistic paradigms.

Reasonable has the base word of reason, as such questions applying reason are more likely to fit into that category. Theists questions tend to be based upon premises that are articles of faith, and faith is defined as a belief that is held from some other source than reason. So, one can reason that theists questions are less likely to be reasonable.

I think it is because you are agnostic and probably biased. But I also think it's more "human nature" to want to believe the atheist/agnostic arguments.

Your bias may be leading your oppinions, but I dare say, that I find that there are both reasonable and unreasonable on both sides, of course bias will steer you in one direction, even if that direction is not a good one, so, bias is not trustworthy or a reliable way to judge.

I tend to find those who can use logic and reason and display intelligence to be more my cup of tea.
Sadly, it tends to work the direction you stated, though there are some religious folk around here with well thought out questions and answers.
