Besides the Lord's Prayer, I really like Psalm 119.

[spoken as if by a cheerleader....]

Rub-a-dub-dub...
Thanks for the grub!
Yyyyeeeaaaahhhh GOD!!!

Seriously... my favorite Bible-verse "prayer" is from Psalms 25:4... "Make me to know Thy ways, O Lord, Teach me Thy paths." It is my constant desire to know what God's will is... and this has always expressed it so perfectly for me.

Have a blessed day.

Insofar as I may be heard by anything, which may or may not care what I say, I ask, if it matters, that you be forgiven for anything you may have done or failed to do which requires forgiveness. Conversely, if not forgiveness but something else may be required to insure any possible benefit for which you may be eligible after the destruction of your body, I ask that this, whatever it may be, be granted or withheld, as the case may be, in such a manner as to insure your receiving said benefit. I ask this in my capacity as your elected intermediary between yourself and that which may not be yourself, but which may have an interest in the matter of your receiving as much as it is possible for you to receive of this thing, and which may in some way be influenced by this ceremony.

Amen

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.

The Beneficent, the Merciful.

Master of the Day of Judgment.

You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.

Guide us to the Straight Path,

The Path of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not the path of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray.

Prayer is my side of the conversation with God. Like my conversations with people, each are different and unique. But a true summary would be.........

Lord, Help me Jesus, I KNOW WHAT I AM................
while I may appear something different to you, to my spouse, to my children, to my boss , etc, Jesus KNOWS...............and so do I

The Gospel of John, Chapter 3, verses 3, 5, and 7 say: Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God." Verse 5: Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God." He is saying if you are not born again you cannot see or enter the Kingdom of God! Verse 7: "Do not marvel that I said to you, "You must be born again." Would you like to be born again just as your Lord Jesus Christ commands in his Holy Bible? All you have to do is invite Jesus into your heart and life to be born again. You can pray the following prayer: "Lord Jesus, forgive me of my sins, forgive me for leaving you out of my life, I open the door of my heart and I ask you to co me into me. Lord Jesus, thank you for being Lord of my life and saving me!"

The pleading cries from my heart, to God's ears! I pray from my heart as God desires me to speak with HIM, as does He everyone!

The only prayer I pray that is by someone else...is the Our Father, which Christ gave to us, to pray.
