If you do, why do you some of you seem to mock others for their beliefs?

Is my research correct?
I checked all the Holy Books that didn't make it into the Bible and this is one of them!

THE PROTEVANGELIUM OF SAINT JAMES
19. And the midwife went forth out of the cave, and Salome met her. And she said to her: Salome, Salome, I have a strange sight to relate to thee: a virgin has brought forth-a thing which her nature admits not of. Then said Salome: As the Lord my God liveth, unless I thrust in my finger, and search the parts, I will not believe that a virgin has brought forth.
20. And the midwife went in, and said to Mary: Show thyself* (*spread your legs!), for no small controversy has arisen about thee. And Salome put in her finger, and cried out, and said: Woe is me for mine iniquity and mine unbelief, because I have tempted the living God; and, behold, my hand is dropping off as if burned with fire.

Mormons: This is a sincere question, not an attempt to embarrass you or your religion, as many use Y!A for.

Whenever I've asked a LDS person the question "Are you saved by Grace alone" I've pretty well universally been answered:. "No" Some LDS people will go on to explain that a person that has not truly accepted Jesus Christ and thus has no change of heart, with the resultant good works associated, could ever by saved.

I have come to the conclusion that the very question is too full of religiously loaded words to really get at what I am asking. Apparently Mormons have been taught to associate the concept of "Grace Alone" with antinomianism (i.e. salvation irrelevant to a honest acceptance of Christ as Lord and Master where you are saved no matter how sinful you are afterwards.)

So recognizing that the word "grace" is actually a synonym for "graciousness" how do you feel about the question rephrased as "Are you saved by God's graciousness alone?"

(more details to come)

Funnily enough I see mormons on here argue they are Christians because their church has the name of Jesus in it. Is it just me or is this a pitiful argument? What if I started a church? The church of Jesus Christ of latter day bank robbers. I write the book of robbers in which I say an angel named Thievus tells me that robbing bank is the will of God. Does the fact that the church has the name of Jesus in it make it Christian?

The recent acts of violence, including 9/11 suggest otherwise. No religion in these modern times can profess to be peaceful and yet support acts of cold blooded murder. I put emphasis on the religion because this is where the violence is emanating from and condoned. This is what I hear and read, not just in western news, but Muslim as well. The piece on the project promoted by the president of iran that there was no holocaust suggests there is quite a propaganda machine in the muslim world.

So lets assume for a minute that Christianity is false. Now if you were going to create a religion would you put in the idea of sin and hell? Rules that keep you from doing pleasurable things? Or would you make it one that lets you do what ever you want? Encourages as much sex as possible any way you want because it feels good. Drink all you want. Lie, cheat, and steal if it gets you ahead. Wouldn't it make a lot more sense if you were going to create a religion out of whole cloth to make it one that does not restrict you? That does not condemn you if you sin? Why would man make up a religion like Christianity that tells you that you must love, even your enemy. That you must be moral and not lie or do wrong. So my question is if it is made up don't you think they person who made it up messed up? Why only tell a person to pay 10% when you could have demanded 90% and only left them 10%? It does not make sense that a religion like Christianity would be made up.

didn't help much. I have seen alot of people voting for themselves as best answer, does this break any rules. I've never done it, but how does Yahoo monitor people that do that? Is that cheating? I know level 7 people that to that, how can they be reported if this is cheating. I don't think it is fair. If it is okay to vote yourself as best answer can you be reported for it. How do you report someone for doing this if it violates Y'ans guidlines. The TOS really doesn't explain it. So can you vote for yourself or not? If not I need to report alot of people.
