Did you know that many atheists are quite versed in theology and some of us know more than you do about your own religion?

I myself attended a strict Catholic school (unwillingly) since first grade and trust me I know PLENTY, so you cannot say it is our ignorance of religion that makes us non-believers, in fact, reading the bible has made me realize how flawed it truly is and if anything it made my atheistic beliefs even stronger.

I just want to know why some people can look at us who are pierced and tattooed and think that we can't possibly be Christians.

I, for one, look like a punk with four holes in each ear lobe (ten guage x2, twelve guage x2, fourteen guage x2, and sixteen guage x2) , a sixteen guage ring in my left upper cartelage, an eighteen guage in my right conch (inside of ear, not that flappy thing), a tongue ring, eyebrow ring, and one tattoo (with plans to get like five more one day).

I am also a firm believer in Jesus Christ.

And I want to know, where in the Bible does it tell me that I shouldn't be pierced or tattooed? If it exists in the Word, I'd like to know about it, and be able to read about it myself.

look how many dinosaur remains are found...and modern humans...but where are the rest we supposedly evolved from.....They have all ended being some type of ape, NOT HUMAN. Evolution therefore does not exist...we were created.....the amount of remains found only equate to the earth being approx 12000yrs old.

I went to a community supper tonight. A lady and I had a disagreement about 5 years ago regarding something stupid...the use of the community room. Nothing major. I sat near her tonight and paid her a nice compliment and she brought up the disagreement we had 5 years ago and indicated she didn't wish to speak to me. I was embarrased and humiliated but more so hurt. I had forgiven her for what she said to me that special night and I had hoped she had forgiven me for the remark I made about her brother that same night 5 years ago. It was all so petty. I mean the disagreement we had. But I was hurt when I was trying to be neighborly and sociable and she acted "mean". She is in her 90's but that is no excuse for being rude. She isn't not senile in any way. The remark I made about her brother was not that bad but she made a big deal out of it. So I am wondering how Jesus went through life not getting hurt when people were insulting him.

If Christianity is not true, then how do you explain all the Biblical prophecies that were predicted HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of years before they happened?

If it is not true, then how do you explain the Book of Revelations and the dangerous (through nuclear weapons in North Korea and possibly Iran) situation we are in?

If it is not true, how do you explain out of body experiences?

If it is not true, how do you explain the feeling of the Holy Spirit?

If it is not true, how do you explain ghost sightings?

Please answer EVERY SINGLE QUESTION IN DETAIL. Do not dodge this. I care about you. I want you to examine your beliefs. I do not do this out of hate, but out of concern. I hope you find Jesus and he touches your heart.

We all deserve Hell. We are all sinners, but God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that if we accept His sacrifice we might be washed clean and saved from Hell. Jesus is the only way.

Catholocism was created back a couple hundred years ago. It was created when Christians came to Egypt. When they got there, there was allready a wide known religion that praised many Gods, not just one. So what happened was that the two religions blended together and we get what we have today. Instead of praying to one god, like Jesus Christ, they pray to Mary and the saints. They believe that if they pray enough and give enough money to the church, then they will get into heaven. That is why the Catholic church is so wealthy. They keep up the lie so that they can get money. So my question is, if this religion is false and we know it, why do people follow it?

was the "first" of all angels! Did that put him above Jesus, the son of God at that time, or had Jesus' angelic form not been created yet? And if Jesus was the "only" son of God, just who were the "Son's of God" in Genesis who found the "daughters of men to be good and took them as wives" ?? Please, no attacks by Christians, I am one myself! I just want to see if someone comes up with an answer as close to my cousin's, as he is a preacher.

In my last question (see link below) most of the people that answered stated that sending a child to Sunday School and taking them to Church is child abuse. That is news to me, so learning that God loves you when you are a child is child abuse, wow you learn something new everyday (sarcastic)

Well if you make your child clean their teeth and they don't want to, is that child abuse?

Making them clean up their room even when they say no, is that child abuse?

Telling them not to play in the rain or mud, is that child abuse?

I always thought raising your child the way you were raised, being taught right from wrong is parenting not child abuse

So please tell me what is the right way, if I am wrong about taking my girls to Church so they can learn how much God loves them, tell me what is the right way?
