Not at all. Most of the DaVinci code is possibilities manipulated to seem real. About the only facts are those relating to actual places, as they exist.

Are you mad?
The Davinci Code is a fictitious story, with no factual evidence in it.,if you read the notes on the 3rd page it says that:
NOTE: "This is a work of fiction. All the characters and events portrayed in this book are either products of the Authors' imagination or are used fictitiously."

DaVinci Code is not only FICTION, it isn't even fair to DaVinci. I am amazed at how many people can believe this sort of fiction is true!

It depends on what u think, u can think it is true or not. Actually a lot of our technology came from science fiction, so why fiction can not have a fracture of truth? Dan Brown may base his work on some true facts but deny it just not to get all of the christian in the world angry and upset.

The only real statement about the Da Vinci Code is that Leonardo's Hand writing was "Specular". That means that you needed a Mirror to read it. The rest is work of fantasy and you can believe what you like.

No. Even the name "Jesus" isn't entirely accurate. The rest of it (i.e. the stuff about Jesus) was a hoax perpetrated in the 1950's by a crazy Frenchman hoping to prove his right to the throne of England. It is a good book, though, and I enjoyed the movie. We actually have most of Dan Brown's novels.

The DaVinci code? Sorry to disillusion you, but that was a book, and a movie! There is no "code".

a book where some of it is true and some of it is hokum is no use at all unless you have some way of telling which part is which.
that said: you need to be spectacularly stupid to take any part of the da vinci code seriously. about the only fact in it is that paris is the capital of france.

The Da Vinci Code is a mixture of historical fact, some interpretation of those facts, some speculation and some fiction.
Just like the bible.
