Do we tell you how to live your life?
If not then don't preach to us how to live our lives

Yes.
It sounds like a lovely prayer.
I suppose that she's our life by default of being united to the Holy Spirit in a way husband and wife are united. She's our hope for the same reason. An experience like that changes you, I would think. She didn't just have Jesus in her heart. She had Him physically in her body for NINE MONTHS, and carried Him closely for a few weeks afterward, and cuddled Him everyday....no one on this Earth right now can ever say they held and loved Jesus as closely as she did. No one.
She is our most important signpost.

You leave out the second part of the prayer:
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
May the Divine assistance always remain with us.
And may the souls of all of the faithfully departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
The prayer is describing the Blessed Virgin Mary as our beloved foster mother as Jesus said from the cross to his beloved disciple (who represents all Christians), "this is your mother." (John 19:27).
Have you never cried to your mother for help when you are hurt or afraid?
You miss the most important parts of the prayer, where we ask what we want and need:
+ Show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus
+ Pray for us
+ That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
+ May the Divine assistance always remain with us.
With love in Christ.

This is the sort of rambling and babbling we are told not to engage in! We are clearly told in the Bible that there is only one mediator between man and God, Jesus Christ the righteous. To pray to any one other than the Father through Jesus Christ, is utterly futile as the Lord can't and wont hear their prayer because they deny the high priesthood work of both the Father and the Son. Little wonder the Lord Himself will destroy the Catholic church during the tribulation for the reasons given in Revelation Ch.17 V1-9

It sounds like Catholics rightly understand that Mary's womb is the source of Jesus' flesh and blood body, and without her cooperation, all of humanity might still be waiting for redemption.
It sounds like we're properly grateful for what she did for us, and that we understand her God ordained place in the economy of salvation, which is at the right hand of her divine son, Jesus, interceeding with him for us ... just as Jesus remains the one intercessor between God the Father and man.
The official role of the mother of the king of the house of david is to reign as the queen, and to serve as the intercessor for her people with the king.
This was established on earth during the times of David and Solomon, and is totally scriptural, as well as historical. The system is based on the model of the heavenly hierarchy.
All the "sweetness and light" stuff is simply a reflection of the super abundant graces that we know God gave to Mary, for the purpose of our salvation.
Without Mary's "yes" there would be no hope for salvation.
Without Mary's womb there would be no incarnate Jesus.
Without Mary's intercession there would be a lot more souls in hell.
Without taking anything away from God, who totally gave of himself for our salvation, and by whose grace Mary was suitably empowered, all of mankind owes a great debt to Mary, who could have simply said "no" and lived a relatively carefree and normal life, just like the rest of us.
Instead, she accepted God's plan for her life 100% ... something no other non-divine person has ever done.
For all of these reasons, Mary is the best of us. She gave birth to the son of God. She remains Jesus' mom, and his first, best, and most constant disciple. And Mary never quit ... even at the foot of the cross.
Compare Mary's life to that of any other human (other than Jesus, who is God) and you'll find none better.
This is why theologians and scholars, as far back as the day of Pentecost, have spent countless hours meditating on the mystery of Jesus' incarnation, and on the sweet, clement, and loving young virgin that he chose to be his mom, and whose destiny is now eternally linked with Christ's ... and with all of humanity's.

just another snippet of confusion... again trying to show that religions are not as honest as they claim... the devil sets religions in motion to enslave the human race.... there is no mary either but all inconsistencies are omens ment to bring down the church and expose their lies.... the church is built purely on lies an deceit... it should have been easier to discredit...

I have always felt that Catholics worship The Virgin Mary. I mean she is one of the most important figures in the Bible, but God above all. Also in the Bible it talks about not worshiping false idols, or others?? Don't get me wrong, i am not saying she is a false idol, just not God, or Jesus.

Orthodox Catholics simply do not worship Mary as God -- and it gets a little tiring being accused of worshipping Mary as God when you don't.
It amounts to being called a liar and is quite rude.
We Catholics would be the ones to know Whom we consider God and whom we don't.
I love my biological Mother, too, but don't mistake her for the Lord!
I honor her, keep in touch with her, look after her, celebrate her special days, would get mad if someone were to insult her -- and I do the same for Jesus's Mother.
My love for my Mother doesn't mean I don't love my Father, too.
It just strikes me as evil, this not uncommon attempt to diminish Mary's status and the unceasing accusations against Catholics of trying to raise her status to that of God's. There's something very sinister and ugly in it, and I find it offensive.
We Catholics take great care in pointing out that "worship" in the sense of latria is GOD'S alone -- even to the point of having separate terms for the honor and adoration due to God as opposed to the honor and veneration of the Saints -- including His greatest Saint, Mary.
They are:
latria: the honor due to God alone
dulia: the honor due to human creatures worthy of respect
hyperdulia: the honor due to Mary as God's greatest creation and our Queen Mother
When we love Christ, does that prevent us from loving each other? No! Love is infinite because God, Who is Love, is infinite! We can love and adore Jesus, love and venerate Mary, love the other Saints, and love each other without depriving anyone (or Anyone) of anything.
How many children can you have without running out of love? How many friends?
What we "spend" in love is replaced many times over; love for Christ can only bring the fruits of more love to give.
To love Mary takes nothing at all from Christ, but honors our Blessed Lord by Whose grace she is who she is: His greatest creation, the greatest of Saints, the Queen of Heaven, the Immaculate Conception, the spotless Virgin, the Ark of the Covenant, the New Eve, the mother of God, and the mother of Israel -- our mother who wants nothing more for us than to pray for us and show us her Son.
...And ask yourself why the heck we'd lie about not worshipping Mary as some sort of divine being if we actually did. Do you think we are ashamed? Afraid of what you might think? Do you think that we actually do worship Mary but don't tell converts until some secret ceremony held after they've been in the Church a few years and can be trusted?
I mean, really! Satanists have no qualms telling people they worship Satan, pagans have no problem informing the world that they worship the earth, Hindus are not uneager to reveal that they chant to Krishna -- but Catholics are "afraid" to "admit" whom they consider God?
Please! We are not afraid to tell you we believe in Purgatory, indulgences, the Communion of Saints, the efficacy of piously using sacramentals, the true grace of the Sacraments, the infallibility of the Pope when he uses his Extraordinary or Universal Magisterium, etc.
Trust me; if we thought Mary is a godess, we'd let you know.
As the obedient, infinitely holy Son of God, the Lord Jesus was a very firm believer in the commandment to honor one's father and mother. Now, what most people don't know about that commandment is that in Hebrew it literally reads, "Glorify your father and mother."We are to bring glory to our parents, and that includes not only our earthly, physical mother but our heavenly, spiritual mother as well. We are to imitate Christ, and just as he brought glory to his mother, we are to bring glory to her as well.
St. Luke's gospel (1:48) - "Behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed."
Her soul magnifies the Lord (Luke 1:46-55)!

You need to look at hymns and poems of devotion in an emotionally understanding manner. The words gush forward not from rational argument or logical dissection. Are our senses filled up like a night in a forest, like a mountain in springtime, by the one we love? No but something wonderful is being said about love and human beings understand these words without argument or confusion.
I am sorry to say that Protestant response to 2000 years of Catholic history and tradition can sometimes be far too literal; and that because because Protestantism has an overly literally base. Every peasant was able to get a Bible after the printing press made them cheap to produce. They started interpreting scripture without any other study, its like doing an operation just by reading a surgery manual.
Here you are today offering another fine example of this type of denominational ignorance. Please try to understand the catholic mindset on this issue rather than impose your mindset on our spiritual treasures. For Catholics all that is said about Mary is Christo-centric. We say Mary has an immaculate heart because we say Christ has a sacred heart. Jesus ascended into heaven and Mary was assumed into heaven. Its her connection to Jesus that gives rise to our devotion - but not worship, that would ba a contradiction to us. At the centre of our response to Mary is her openness to Christ, her "Yes", to God in accepting to be the mother of Christ is our central challenge as Christian. Will we carry Christ to others as she gave him to us?
Now to the prayer and you and anyone who uses both sides of their brain should be able to see that it does not suggest worship of Mary. The queen here is seen as consort, not monarch, she is seated next to the throne not on it. We, like her are children of eve but she is our hope as she live in human purity. She is an advocate, she is asked by us to ask Jesus to help us. And here is the clearest point: after our death, show to us your son Jesus. She is depicted as human, not divine. We have a devotion to her because she gave us our saviour. We honour Mary and worship her son, Jesus Christ, son of God. Her yes gave us our source of salvation. We turn to her in humility because we feel unworthy of her son's love and indeed we are.
Our life, our hope, our tears and grief, these are our concerns, this is what fills our thought as we turn to prayer. Mary suffered these same concerns without the clarity of her son's faith in God as Abba. There is no competition between Mary and Jesus in the Catholic mind, she is human, her son was human and divine. Because of her we have the incarnation. We are all called to be the body of Christ here on earth. She gave us Christ's body out of love for God and man, we are challenged to makes Christ love physically present in our world today as she did in hers.
