Nope.
I just read Morganie's quote from Corinthians, which I recall is attributed to Paul the Apostle. Paul, the real founder of Christianity, shows with his own words that he distrusts knowledge, and instead elevates faith (even in nonsense) to a supposed divine quality. But Paul was wrong. He did that because even then people could see that there was no reason to have supernatural beliefs.
Paul hated knowledge and feared his own body. And he preferred celebacy to real physical companionship. This is what Christianity is founded on: a half-crazed celebate ranting that he had "the truth" that only believers could know.

"For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom;
but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness,
but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men."
