How did you come to your conclusions? Do you feel satisfied and content with yourself?
If you do, why do you some of you seem to mock others for their beliefs?

Nothing even remotely spiritual.

I came to my conclusions by wondering what evidence there is to believe in anything religious. Plus, the more I learned about science, the more I could see that there isn't really any room for a spiritual component in the human being.

I feel somewhat satisfied and content with myself, I guess.

I don't mock people for their beliefs but to be honest, I do have a hard time understanding how any clear-headed and intelligent person could believe in God. I know many do, but it seems hard to believe.

I believe that the human heart is the source of the most powerful good and equally the most powerful evil.

And I've been mocked for those beliefs, by Christians, no less.... so now begs the question, with your head where it is, how's your colon looking?

I believe that judgeing just by the questions on here, religion causes war and conflict, and is just something our parents have tried to brainwash us with, threatening us with damnation if we do not follow a set "TRUE" religion. I believe it is better to have one peace loving non believer, than a thousand warring religions. I am not an Atheist, I do believe in a higher being, I just do not believe religions are God's work, rather Satan's work.

Everything that has empirical evidence.

See above and realize there is none at all for any god.

Yep

Well...if you met an adult that still believed in Santa, how do you think you would react? I mean it is pretty funny. It is damn hard not to poke fun a little.

I believe in science, logic, rational thought, independent thinking, and the abilities of myself to make moral choices and decisions.

I don't need an old guy reading a 2000 year old book of fables that I need to hate gay people, not use birth control, and believe that my religion is superior and everyone else is going to a magical place of eternal suffering.

As salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.

Insha'Allah, aren't most atheist dogmatic believers in their disbelief? that is, don't they believe that there is nothing to believe in, thereby actually holding to a belief? (Rene Descartes, the French philosopher and mathematician, who started dualism found that he could doubt everything except that he was doubting. for fear of how the Catholic church might react to his ability to doubt even the existence of God, he changed his "dubito ergo sum" to "cogito ergo sum". This seems similar to what atheist are doing, believing that they don't believe.

Ma'a salaam.
