do!! we are saved by faith working thru grace!! If one has no food no clothes for the day and we say be at peace keep well but we do NOT any works such as give him food and clothes, our faith is DEAD!! So are we agreed that it is faith working thru LOVE--which the bible says is GREATER THAN FAITH!! Without which we cannot be saved, because dead faith dont save us, its faith in action. Ok, now what was the question? how can you still say we are saved by faith alone? thats not even biblical, we must take the bible as a whole, not out of context people!

God has given us the holy spirit to be victorious, to experience full joy, avoid sins and have a personal experience with him. However why are many Christian not living a spirtit filled life? why do people say that they are leader (praise leader, bible study leader) but not living a example? why do some leaders, praise leaders, be involved with bible study teaching, and outside of church, they just live a normal life, thinking that they are good? Bible says, once you are new creation, our old has gone. and it also say "Be Holy because I am holy" How can there be a revival so that many christian will take the gospel seriously? Why are many christian who goes to church not actively witnessing for Christ? sharing the gospel? some church really focus on the Word which is good, but why are some minister never focus on Great Commission, Mission? and they just focus on the bible? they dont really focus on prayer, witnessing? How can Christian be the salt and light in this generation??

then why do some christians whine about the word god being taken out of pledge, money, etc?

are christians just not mature adults enough to tolerate the government law of separation of church and state?

do whatever you want in private schools or private facilities, but public schools and government buildings do have to follow government laws.

just because you strongly believe in your god, doesn't make everyone else believe it too, let alone proving the existence of god, and therefore follow your mindset and lifestyle.

you say those who oppose will burn in hell, but that's only with your perception. not everyone lives with your perception.

Reading this BBC report on the growth of Atheism in the USA, I was stuck how intolerant some in the US seemed of Atheism particularly in Texas. One could hardly square the expressed intolerance with the Constitution's expression of freedom of expression or the values of Christian faith

If god is really all loving and all forgiving, than is it not redundant to worship him in the first place?...Since he will forgive us that is.

Also, wouldn't god value a formulated opinion which involves ones own honor, integrity and intelligence more than blind belief?

If, hypothetically, he exists, he gave us a brain for a reason.
Also, doesn't the god is "all loving and omnipotent" statement contradictory in itself?

I don't know who wants to actually answer me, but i would be great to get some opinions on this matter.

I am a Christian, but I am also a believer in theistic evolution. I also have a BS in molecular biology. I just wanted to provide some background so you see where I am coming from with this question.
God created us as biological human beings. He created the universe and everything within it. This makes God the best biologist, chemist, physicist, mathematician, etc. I think you get my point. For those of you who do not believe in evolution or the big bang, do you think God used science to create us? Or do you think He just spoke us into existence and like magic we were created? This latter question is, in my opinion, ignorance of God's intelligence and His magnificent creations. Why would He make us and the universe so complex if He did not use scientific law to establish life as we know it?
