If god is really all loving and all forgiving, than is it not redundant to worship him in the first place?...Since he will forgive us that is.

Also, wouldn't god value a formulated opinion which involves ones own honor, integrity and intelligence more than blind belief?

If, hypothetically, he exists, he gave us a brain for a reason.
Also, doesn't the god is "all loving and omnipotent" statement contradictory in itself?

I don't know who wants to actually answer me, but i would be great to get some opinions on this matter.

[If, fundamentally, god is all loving/ forgiving, than is it not redundant to worship him in the first place? ]: He created us with free will with the ability to choose; however the reward is from honoring Him and worshiping him when we have the choice to choose other means or none at all.

[Also, wouldn't god value a formulated opinion which involves ones own honor, integrity and intelligence more than blind belief?]: The blind belief is faith; evidence of things not seen, and for things hoped for, again the reward is from faith from an inner connection. We believe that a chair will hold us when we sit, merely because we see it, but greater is the reward in things not seen when it comes to spiritual faith.

[If, hypothetically, he exists, he gave us a brain for a reason.
Also, doesn't the god is "all loving and omnipotent" statement contradictory in itself?] : All loving and omnipotent (all knowing) is not really contradictory. It means that he loves all, regardless of our choices, as a mother will forever love her child. All knowing: for He created the world and is the nucleus of all wisdom. Our ideas and creations evolve from that of which we obtained from Him. For example, Thomas Edison and his light bulb: he has to give some credit to his parents and ancestors. Not that they had the idea, but without them...who knows.

God's permissive will is what allows us to do what we want, pray how we want, choose what we want; but the reward is in choosing our first love, which is He who loved us first, he who created us. Not saying that we all have to be priest and perfect worshipers; but having that honor in your heart to say thank you for who I am and who I will be, and sincere efforts to resist the things that offend others, ourselves and moral laws are basic beginnings after accepting and recognizing Him as the creator, and resist the selfish concept that we created ourselves from colliding rocks (in short).

Why would you not want to worship someone who is all loving and all forgiving. Following your logic in this question: If your mom would forgive you if you did something that hurt her, would you intentionally hurt her?

Also, wouldn't god value a formulated opinion which involves ones own honor, integrity and intelligence more than blind belief?
Yes, absolutely. He would also honor an opinion more that is based on more than a blind disbelief.

If, hypothetically, he exists, he gave us a brain for a reason. Also, doesn't the god is "all loving and omnipotent" statement contradictory in itself?
I'm assuming you mean that to be all knowing means that you would not love all things. That is absolutely correct in that if you know that something is inherently evil you should despise it. So following that train of thought define evil. Would evil not be something that would harm something else? Since God is all loving he despises only that which is intended to harm. Therefore he is all loving. There is no mixture between good and evil. I can still love a person that has the capacity to do wrong, while still hating the possibility that they will. In other words I love the person while hating the potential action, but do not love the person any less than if I didn't know that they were capable of that action.

I don't know who wants to actually answer me, but i would be great to get some opinions on this matter.

I fail to see the redundancy in the question; loving God is not redundant at all and why not just love Him if that is in your heart? You seem to feel that you can disregard, disbelieve and not love or incorporate God into your life at all since he will forgive you no matter what, which is kind of ridiculous. If He isn't in your heart then that is another matter. God values us period, nothing to do with formulated opinions, honor, integrity, intelligence etc, that is just so much extraneous gobbledygook. People who love God have all those qualities and more besides; there is no honor, integrity or intelligence in not believing, just blind, self-serving arrogance, IMO.
You are confused or ignorant of the definitions of some of the words you use...There is nothing contradictory in God being all loving and omnipotent; do you understand that those words mean? Because if you do you would see, hopefully, that your statement makes no sense. I suggest you look up the meaning of "omnipotent."
So now you have my opinion which is what you asked for...let me know if you have any more questions!

Although I may not be as eloquent & well read as some others here at R&S I can tell you from a gut level that praying and asking for forgivness is not only a spiritual request but also a venting process for the soul.
To acknowledge before God that we have errored and are being accountable is noble to you own self. And cleansing to the soul.

He's not all forgiving, He is only forgiving if u seek forgivness, He will only love if u seek His love. God HATES sin. He IS omnipotent, and God only wants us to have faith in him, and its not blind belief, God is very real, i have never seen george washington, but i still beleive in him. Just have a little faith, besides which one sounds more possible, a higher power created the heavens and the earth, or everything just popped out of nowhere?

It is not redundant to worship God, because we are doing it out of love. Our life is a test to see whether we're going to follow God or the devil. There are two paths, and there is no in between. If we can ignore questions like these and worship God, we are being blessed. Worshiping God is one step towards heaven.

If God made them greater resistant then it could have been one sided and not out actual skill to make a unfastened determination. in case you probably did to any extent further analyzing you may see that God right now began the right steps to reconcile guy to Him. First he informed them the earliest prophecy of Christ, that the girl's new child shall bruise the snakes head and the snake bruise his heal. the subsequent is God himself shed the 1st blood and killed a undergo so as that He could conceal the shame of guy and female, i.e. fabric them for their sake. The curse is self perpetuating do to the actual shown fact that it somewhat is a corruption or an infection on introduction. As for hell, human beings walk into hell via their very own accord. There are 2 places to bypass, to God or faraway from God. to stroll faraway from God is to stroll out His presence. on account that God is everywhere the sole place is a pocket area the place you could ultimately get away God. You walk the direction, no person is grabbing at you. God can no longer rigidity you to persist with Him. there is basically going to be one among 2 human beings giving this as quickly as sentence interior the tip. the two you will say, "Your would be finished", or God will say, "Your would be finished". I opt to be the single asserting, "Your would be finished." in case you're keen to tutor your returned on God, then so be it, yet you could no longer say He did no longer attempt each and every thing that might actually assist you from the direction you chosen.

I think people got better things to do, instead of worshipping "The God Who Was Not There" - watch this video..documentary ... it is worthwhile.
It is a big self indulgent (which all religions are) but has an honest message, unlike religion's.

I just say yes to the first part.

Each has their own values system, part cultural, part unique. Eric Rudolph and Tim McVeigh were religiously motivated. However, in prison Rudolph has become an atheist.
